Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:40 LRL 1st SUNDAY MISCHIEF (#6, 8-1) faced good fields in both turf starts. Wired by Uncaptured Spirit in tough first-level allowance in April (third-finisher returned to win the Grade 2 Penn Mile with an 88 Beyer), he then faced four next-out winners in first try for a tag (four-time winner returned to grab a $16,000 starter with a 79 Beyer). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  2:02 BAQ 3rd BAVARIAN CREME (#8, 10-1) stretched out for the first time most recently and finished last, though she did not have a great trip in that race after breaking from the outside; only other turf start was an underrated effort going seven; might be worth giving her one more chance here at a price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  2:08 WO 3rd WAR GIANT (#4, 6-1) battled four-wide for the lead on the turn before weakening late to fourth in a deceptively good performance in a shorter Tapeta sprint a week ago in his local debut. He could make some noise at a square price in this seven-furlong event with a race over the track under his girth. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  2:31 BAQ 4th SAINTHOODFORBRIAN (#3, 8-1) debuted in a strong MSW turf sprint and never landed a blow after racing greenly from the gate; has more of a dirt pedigree and drops into a logical spot right away for Klesaris - maiden, second career start, sprint: 5 for his last 18, 28%, $3.15 ROI. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  2:37 WO 4th BET N WIN (#5, 12-1) raced wide most of the way over an inside-biased track when a well-beaten fifth behind a runaway winner who could be stakes-bound Sept. 4. He's meeting easier in this NW2 tilt with the leading bug Jones climbing aboard. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  3:10 LRL 6th We'll learn more about MILLEAN (#8, 8-1) as he hikes up in class seeking third consecutive score. Returned from 140 days on the sidelines to take advantage of speed-friendly track in a race where they ran 1-2 around the track. Looked to be in hot water being hard-ridden on the turn, but gamely rebuffed the runner-up's challenge. He's improved since stretching back around two turns. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  3:24 GP 7th NIGHT JUMPER (#4, 6-1) ran down loose on the lead K C Chief when pair met on 8/27 earning career best Beyer in the process. Has been given ample time to recuperate from the effort and should get even more speed to run at today. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 3:43 WO 6th UPTOWN LIGHTS (#8, 6-1) has been gelded since another lackluster performance vs. maiden special company Aug. 12, and should be rejuvenated with the drop to OS/$40K company. Chris Husbands is 1 for 7 at the meet for Chiefswood's farm trainer Giliforte. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  4:09 BAQ 7th CLASSIC COLORS (#3, 10-1) returned from the layoff back in May with a strong effort from last to first into a slow pace; tried going longer in her last two and just doesn't seem to be as effective over that kind of distance, though she ran fine in that last one when briefly caught in traffic as the winner got the jump; needs the right trip but fits here and is going to be a fair price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  4:14 LRL 8th QUEEN SHEBA (#3, 5-1) looked good winning maiden special two back on Colonial sod. Broke out a bit, then pressed 9-2 shot (finished seventh) through a hot opening quarter. Went after that one on the turn and was getting away along the rail late. In tough going two turns on dirt against odds-on Hoodooland last time out, she gets back to a more appropriate distance and surface. Barbosa departs for Hitch a Ride. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  5:13 BAQ 9th SALIMAH (#4, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race  5:21 WO 9th MIA AND ME (#8, 10-1) raced wide throughout when a flat sixth among three next-out winners in an identical spot as this one Aug. 20. The son of Frac Daddy has worked thrice leading up to this engagement and could break through with Fukumoto aboard for the first time. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  5:46 GG 3rd She may be a 5-year-old, but there are reasons to support the first-time starter LIL INDIAN ANGEL (#3, 6-1). Trainer Ellen Jackson does well with debut runners, this mare has an attractive series of workouts, and her dam, Lil Angelina, was a game second in her debut. Jackson had a first-time starter win earlier this month. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race  7:00 MED 1st ANTONOV (#10, 10-1) was a very good 2nd in is most recent appearance on the turf, closing late in a race that was light on pace; Beyers are light but he took a big step forward last time on the dirt in terms of speed figures, presumably on a surface he doesn't prefer. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  7:01 SA 7th Euro-import GAELIC NATION (#7, 5-1) gets top billing in this MSW turf sprint based on his closing third last out in a productive maiden race in Ireland. The winner returned to finish second in a G3, the runner-up won next out then placed in a G3; the fifth-place finisher won a maiden race two starts later. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race  8:00 WBS (Harness) 4th POINTOMYGRANSON (#3, 6-1) took some sneaky money last week and he raced okay closing from far back. I think leading driver James MacDonald sends him this time and he could lead all the way here. – Garnet Barnsdale | Get PPs for this race  8:01 SA 9th CRYPTO MUNNY (#5, 4-1) gets the call to upset career maiden KAZUHIKO. CRYPTO MUNNY was not disgraced finishing third on dirt last out, he had a tough trip two back in his comeback in a maiden-claiming turf mile vs. slightly tougher including race-1 selection Naismith. Back on turf, first-time Umberto Rispoli (leading turf rider this summer at Del Mar), 'MUNNY can post a mild upset. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race  8:52 MED 5th SKYLERVILLE (#11, 6-1) was on the lead in that last one but she showed two back that she is also capable of taking back off the pace and making a bid late; makes her second start off the layoff for trainer Jonathan Thomas, who excels with that angle (31%, $2.83 ROI). -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  9:00 YR (Harness) 7th MOONLIGHT SHADOW (#4, 6-1) has been pretty good in practically every start since being claimed by these connections a few months back. He finds a more reasonable spot tonight facing softer and looks to have a legit chance to convert at a decent price. – Matt Rose | Get PPs for this race  9:03 RP 3rd SUNNY SAN LEON (#7, 9-2) was third last out to a winner who returned to capture the E.L. Gaylord Memorial Stakes on Sunday at Remington. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  9:20 MED 6th DREAM ASTRAY (#2, 9-2) weakened after making a mid-race move to the lead off the turn but that was not a bad effort at all in his first start for this barn last time out, and the resulting Beyer puts him right in the middle of this; positional speed and inside post should lead to another favorable trip. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  10:27 RP 6th STELLACZAR (#8, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mary Rampellini). | Get PPs for this race
