?q=100)
Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:50 GP 1st CASTELLANA (#3, 6-1) broke slow from rail then checked again shortly after start, did make a little mid-race run while eating lots of dirt in debut. Drops and with a couple of works under belt prepping for return. Should fit nicely for this tag. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:04 LRL 4th TEA ROSE (#4, 6-1) adds blinkers after being wired by favored Bandonarun at Pimlico. Settled in midpack, dropped to the rail, and finished evenly despite swapping leads a couple of times. Barn scored with 16-1 shot Tenax over course and distance on 4/20. Has the tactical speed to work out a stalking trip. -Dan Illman | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:10 LRL 6th FULL PROOF (#5, 6-1) pulled a bit in his debut, settled into the pocket, stayed within range through a solid pace, tried to lug in when rallying along the inside, eased off the fence late in the game, and had no problems getting second. Think he'll focus better with new blinkers for barn that scored with second-out maiden Ninetyninecarats at Delaware on 7/26. Should get up and near the pace. -Dan Illman | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:20 GP 6th EXCHANGE DAY (#5, 5-1) far and away the most accomplished member of the field and back to what may be his preferred surface as well. Has proven good fit in this condition on several occasions over the Tapeta in the past. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:17 GP 8th ETRETAT (#4, 8-1) drops, returns to main, did beat more than half the field for twice the tag over the surface two back. Could be ready for best yet making third start of current form cycle. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:30 WO 7th SOONER LUNAR (#6, 15-1) could wake up in his second try as a gelding as he cuts back off a fade job going long on the inner turf. Civaci replaces the injured Campos, who had replaced the injured Moran--Sahin is 2 for 6 for the barn. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:03 WO 8th BACHELOR PAD (#12, 8-1) raced three-wide last out when third behind two of his current rivals when boosted up to this level Aug. 24. He worked fast on Sept. 20 and should make some noise with Hernandez subbing for the sidelines Campos. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:34 WO 9th SEATTLE DOWN UNDER (#9, 20-1) landed on the edges in each of his inner turf excursions in August vs. $15K maidens. This $10K maiden claimer came up light, and he seems ready to put it all together. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets
11:51 RP 9th UPTURNED BRIM (#2, 6-1) makes the move to turf for a sire who is getting 6 percent winners from his first-time turfers and 10 percent winners overall on the grass. This one is a half-brother to Lorena, a multiple stakes winner of $334K who was 2-for-3 on turf for earnings of $99K. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets
