12:40 LRL 1st Although FOGGY DREAMS (#6, 9-2) is 0 for 7 on turf, she's run some solid races on turf and might be a bit "dirtied-up" after trying to rally from 10 out of it over inside, speed-friendly track at Timonium. Earned 75 Beyer sprinting on turf at Pimlico in the spring after showing good speed, but think she can be just as effective from stalking range. 1:10 LRL 2nd Both STROLL SMOKIN (#3, 5-1) and EASTERN BAY take needed class drops, but the former has more tactical speed and should get the jump on Eastern Bay once again. Gray gelding was hung out four wide chasing a moderate pace in first start off the Bennett claim and never made an impact in the stretch. 1:40 LRL 3rd TAUBER (#6, 5-1) is perfect from two starts over this course and distance, and think his late kick is suited perfectly by the long stretch and second-wire finish. He's retained his good form with three straight runner-up efforts including solid turf try at Pimlico going five-eighths. 1:45 MTH 4th LUNA FORTUNA (#2, 12-1) is out of an unraced dam but Orbital Affair did produce four other starters, all of them winners, including graded stakes placed turfer Querelle, but the other three all scored on the main track; recent works aren't exceptional on the surface but earlier breezes on the tab hint at some ability. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:28 GP 2nd PO BOY (#6, 7-2) took a nice step forward when he moved to the main track and added blinkers for his second start and the 39 Beyer he received for his third-place finish for $15K is the best in the field. 2:34 BEL 4th BATTLE MAP (#7, 6-1) is out of a dam whose two wins both came sprinting on turf, but she has already dropped a debut winner sprinting on dirt, and this colt debuts for a dangerous trainer in a likely spot; Gargan 3 for his last 6 debuting maiden claimers in dirt sprints on this circuit (50%, $3.03 ROI). -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:56 GP 3rd AFFICIONADO (#2, 4-1) has not won going this short but she has come close, is a sprint winner, and could get up in time if things fall her way in a race that figures to have an honest and contested pace. 3:45 MTH 8th CASH CALL KITTEN (#2, 4-1) hit the board in each of his last four starts and the Beyers he's been posting put him on the short list of contenders, especially considering the expected race flow, as he figures to be running late under Jose Ferrer; finished 2nd in both of his two tries at this distance, which is unchartered territory for most of these runners. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:12 GP 9th DOVE IN CHARGE (#1, 8-1) showed some promise when she debuted in an open MSW race turf while facing a couple of tough ones as the winner repeated in the $75K Our Dear Page and the runner-up won a MSW race by 12 lengths in her next start. Dove in Charge steadied sharply at the top of the stretch and finished strong once she regained her stride. 9:21 WO 8th TARA DAWN (#9, 9-2) won her penultimate start going 6 1/2 furlongs in a NW2 tilt on the Tapeta with a 65 Beyer, which exceeded the Beyer par of 63 for this $10K NW3 class. 11:51 RP 9th HAWAIIAN TYPHOON (#7, 8-1) won this race last summer and we like defending champs. Pop and stop in return try does two things 1) prep for this 2) helps the price.
