Michael Burns First post for Woodbine racing is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET on Friday.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

1:05 BAQ 1st POLICY CHANGE (#1, 4-1) chased a strong pace going long in the debut, where he also got in tight while trying to rally inside before tiring; turf-bred colt is by excellent sprint sire Munnings, and Pletcher has good numbers with maidens cutting back on grass. – Mike Beer

2:03 BAQ 3rd TWO FOR CHARGING (#1, 6-1) dropped for the first time when brought back from the layoff in June, where he gamely drove through between horses in the stretch after awaiting room, before winning easier than the final margin might suggest; drops back down after chasing wide and being eased off in a tougher spot last time going a mile. – Mike Beer

2:55 GP 5th DOVE IN CHARGE (#2, 8-1) just didn't fire last out but sometimes the girls just throw in a poor one. We like that she has had plenty of time since. New barn is 18% off the claim. What we like best is her recent works which are very sharp including that recent bullet best of 42. Leon gets a leg up and is 31% for this barn. – Scott Ehlers

3:37 BAQ 6th ROUTE SENSATION (#13, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).

3:58 GP 7th CAJUN'S MAGIC (#5, 15-1) returns home where he has done his best running. What if this guy just doesn't like the grass? He has a recent work and figures a good price. Back class is hard to miss and his last race was OK. – Scott Ehlers

3:58 WO 6th PUDDINGONTHERITZ (#9, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink).

4:30 WO 7th ECSTASY (#8, 12-1) scored twice on the grass in her last three outings, races which sandwiched a wide fade job in the G3 Ontario Colleen, from which runner-up Simply in Front exited to take a G2 stakes at Kentucky Downs. The versatile sophomore drew ideally on the outside and could track all the speed before going in for the kill. – Ron Gierkink

5:13 BAQ 9th BAM BAM (#9, 8-1) sprinted in the MSW debut and failed to land a blow behind front-running Risk Threshold, who has since returned to win again with an 89 Beyer; bred for turf and back to the grass off the claim with blinkers on. – Mike Beer
