She defeated several of these two months ago racing five and one-half furlongs in the Generous Portion; she targeted this seven-furlong stakes since. INTREPIDO overcame a compromising trip to win the G1 American Pharoah last out at SA, a performance that was better than the margin or speed figure. He can upset favorite TED NOFFEY in the BC Juvenile. INTREPIDO proved he handles DMR with a convincing maiden route win two back; last out he showed he can overcome adversity. INTREPIDO steadied slightly into the backstretch, got boxed in traffic and had to wait for room on the far turn, bulled his way through a tight opening into the stretch, and kicked late to win going away.
