DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Friday, October 30, 2020

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
00 GPW 3rd DOMINATE THEMOMENT (#4, 4-1) had surgery after he finished a half-length behind the top pick and looking at his sharp works leading up to this, he could be sitting on a big effort in his first start as a gelding. – Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
15 BEL 2nd STANHOPE (#15, 5-1) ran well in both turf starts last year, and he got unlucky off the layoff at Saratoga when caught contesting a fast pace from an outside post; improved last time when, once again, part of a quick pace, and he would be worth sticking with should this race come off the grass based on his career debut. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
45 BEL 3rd TO THE TUNE (#5, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

56 LRL 6th FRANCATELLI (#2, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
28 LRL 7th BIG AFFAIR (#1, 8-1) just missed in her lone turf start over the summer, then came back with a good effort over the Tapeta surface at Presque Isle Downs. Off a beat slow at odds-on in that race, she swung four wide into the stretch and just missed to a sharp filly that turned to win. A winner on dirt two back, she has the tactical speed to work out a nice spot while saving ground. Mena lands her instead of Elsie’s Kid. – Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
57 BEL 9th EDGE OF FIRE (#3, 5-1) has run pretty well in his last three starts while stretched out in distance, including a game runner-up effort behind Money Moves in his second start, but still think he is better off sprinting, at least for now; his debut win was an impressive performance, and he has lacked punch in the stretch going longer since then. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

05 WO 4th MO NATION (#8, 10-1) has worked thrice on the Tapeta since shipping in from Hastings, where he rallied inside to finish a lapped-on second vs. $8K NW3 stock the last time he saw action on the dirt Aug. 23. – Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
42 WO 5th FRAT PARTY (#6, 12-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
15 WO 8th ALTERNATIVE VIEW (#10, 9-2) stalked in third before making a bid and then tiring last time in a fast-paced Tapeta route. Her trainer does okay going from synth/turf, and her turf form isn’t bad. – Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

31 RP 4th SNEAKY DIANNE (#8, 6-1) shortens up a tad in distance and her natural speed should serve her well on the distance move. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
55 RP 7th WISHFUL QUALITY (#10, 15-1) moves back into the overnight ranks off the stakes start and seems best judged by her allowance efforts. She is a highly consistent sort as a rule. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
