Coady Media Keeneland kicks off their fall meet Friday with a 10-race program, topped by the Grade 1 Alcibiades for 2-year-old fillies.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

12:50 GP 2nd WITH KINDNESS (#5, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch). | Get Past Performances for this race

1:04 LRL 3rd HONORARY AMERICAN (#2, 8-1) will get back to turf for the first time since he ran for Wesley Ward in June 2025; Jones has had the gelding in some brutally low maiden conditions on dirt, where he has gradually improved; the pedigree points to turf, however, and he could benefit greatly from the return to the surface. - Patrick Moquin | Get Past Performances for this race

1:10 BEL 1st QUEEN SALLY (#9, 15-1) obviously has to improve upon her recent form if she's to beat this field, but there are some excuses to be made for her poor results; caught wet tracks in her last 2 starts; most recently was in a merry-go-round race over speed-favoring mud at Saratoga where she got hung 3 to 4-wide throughout; ran races on this circuit last winter that would give her a chance here; shouldn't mind this slight turnback, especially if some pace develops. - David Aragona | Get Past Performances for this race

2:04 KEE 3rd MASTER QUEEN (#4, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh). | Get Past Performances for this race

2:09 LRL 5th GIMME TWO SHOTS (#6, 7-2) will make his second start back for Geralis after a pair of turf tries over the summer for Dennehy at Colonial; he will stay on the grass for his second start at Laurel as well, having displayed improved form over the surface; he had a tough time near the lead last time out, which probably took something out of him; the 72 Beyer he earned two back seems like it can be duplicated. - Patrick Moquin | Get Past Performances for this race

2:41 LRL 6th BELLE SHOT (#7, 20-1) will make her debut with obvious upside for Milosevic, who often strikes with this type early; sire Great Notion wins with 20% of juvenile firsters and the dam was a longtime dirt runner in Maryland; there's a ton of familiarity here. - Patrick Moquin | Get Past Performances for this race

2:43 WO 4th SURE SHOT TIMBER (#6, 8-1) couldn't keep up vs. non-two OS/$40K stock last time on the Tapeta, over which he made all five of his starts, highlighted by a rail-bias-aided maiden score two back. The son of Reload is a full brother to the hard-knocking stakes-placed turf sprinter Light the Lamp and certainly has a license to handle the inner turf. - Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race

2:49 BEL 4th Generally prefer those dropping in class to the horses who ran more competitive races at the $35k maiden claiming level; MCLIGHT (#1, 8-1) faced a much better field on debut, which was won by next-out stakes winner Sun Kissed Bliss; just ran like a filly who badly needed the experience; was gingerly handled through the first portion of the race, only set down mildly in the lane after losing ground on the turn; should benefit from that test drive and fare better at this level. - David Aragona | Get Past Performances for this race

2:58 GP 6th GIDDY UP BABY (#1, 4-1) switches from double but to veteran pilot for third start of her current form cycle. A non-winning sort to this point in her career but likely to benefit from what projects to be a strong early pace. - Mike Welsch | Get Past Performances for this race

3:40 KEE 6th We don't get Ellis Park work video, but there are two up for SALTWATER SOUL (#4, 12-1) before he left Saratoga. Have to go with that I thought I saw there - a real talent. Looks like he has speed but he also appears to be professional and rateable, and I love the way he goes. Those are some very lively Ellis drills as barn put the finishing touches on what sure seems like a well-intentioned debut. - Marcus Hersh | Get Past Performances for this race

3:49 WO 6th PRINCE ALMASTY (#9, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get Past Performances for this race

3:57 BEL 6th INEXORABLE (#8, 8-1) caught a tough field of starter optional claimers at Saratoga when he made his first start off the claim for these connections; was actually making a decent late rally to mid-stretch before losing momentum when he had to alter course at the 1/16 pole; has run races for prior connections that suggest he fits at this level, and there's a decent amount of pace in here to set up his late run. - David Aragona | Get Past Performances for this race

4:12 KEE 7th VIKING (#6, 8-1) has been ultra-impressive - even more so visually than the speed figures and running lines - since a barn change sent him to trainer D Fawkes. He does face a higher level of competition here, for sure, but smacked around decent horses in Florida. Can't just go to the front and won this - there's too much speed - but the guess is he'd be perfectly happy coming from fifth or some such as long as he doesn't get buried. - Marcus Hersh | Get Past Performances for this race

4:21 WO 7th PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE (#8, 8-1) led until mid-stretch before fading to fourth last time vs. $10K maidens when claimed by Krcmar, who won Sunday's Breeders' Stakes with Fire and Wine. Over the past five years, Krcmar was 4 for 11 (36%) off a claim, with a profitable ROI of $3.06. - Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race

4:31 BEL 7th RELATIVE RISK (#1, 8-1) might not get the respect he deserves going out for underrated connections, but there's nothing wrong with his first and only dirt effort; rushed up inside to set a pretty honest pace before getting overhauled by a superior class dropper; don't think he's catching a particularly tough field for this level and the pace scenario is a bit murky, so his early speed should play well from the inside. - David Aragona | Get Past Performances for this race

4:36 GP 9th PARNASSUS (#10, 4-1) faced a pretty tough bunch led by wire to wire winner Garagogo last time going for the big maiden money at Kentucky Downs, a race won with an 82 Beyer Figure. Not facing that kind returning locally where he was second best behind tepid favorite Senor Roberto on the synthetic several weeks earlier. Turf or Tapeta, should be tough to beat in the finale. - Mike Welsch | Get Past Performances for this race

5:48 KEE 10th A huge number of real turf route influences in the deep pedigree of MICHAEL'S COVE (#6, 15-1). Go ahead and say it: "So what?" That's fine, but we're looking at a horse who just found himself two starts ago with a switch to turf and now is asked to go from one mile to 1 3/16 miles. Obviously a good pace setup last time, but there's very little pace entered in this absolutely wide-open N1X allowance. - Marcus Hersh | Get Past Performances for this race

6:01 SA 5th The first-time starter HAZEY JANE (#3, 10-1) is a narrow pick over the Kentucky shipper SUTURA who has raced in turf stakes in recent starts. Hazey Jane, bought as a yearling in Japan for slightly more than $600,000, is a half-sister to two two-time winners in that country. Hazey Jane is out of My Miss Lilly, who won her debut and later the Grade 2 Gazelle Stakes at Aqueduct in April 2018. - Steve Andersen | Get Past Performances for this race

7:30 RP 1st YO MO (#3, 8-1) clearly merits respect on the strength of that lone turf try, at Lone Star, when he made a bid to win it on the turn before weakening late; he did well enough to get the place and the resulting Beyer may well be good enough to win this, though it's difficult to know for sure since he's the only entrant with grass experience. - Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race

7:37 SA 8th CHRISTA MCAULIFFE (#5, 8-1) closed well to finish third in an allowance race for statebred fillies and mares at 5 1/2 furlongs at Los Al on Sept. 13 as the 9-10 favorite. She ran out of ground, which may not be a problem in this race at the same level at 6 1-2 furlongs. Christa McAuliffe runs as a stalker, and won a maiden race at six furlongs with that style here in May for trainer Steve Miyadi. Christa McAuliffe is well-drawn in post 5 for that type of trip. - Steve Andersen | Get Past Performances for this race

8:26 RP 3rd BIJOU BEAR (#3, 5-1) has been in search of that elusive second career win for just about a year but this does seem to be a good spot for him, as he fits well in terms of Beyers and his tactical speed should mean he's well spotted from the outset; also eligible for a move forward in his third start off the extended break. - Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race

8:52 MED 5th OHANA EMPIRE (#2, 6-1) trailed early but showed good late interest when last seen, and though he was behind SMUGGLER'S GOLD he galloped out past that rival as well as the winner after the wire; should appreciate this move back to 1 1/16 miles, the distance he tries two back, when he rallied into a slow pace. - Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race

9:20 MED 6th WINTERSCAPE (#7, 4-1) steadied briefly down the backstretch in her debut, and though she was off the board she did make up some ground in the lane in an effort that was better than it may look on paper; now stretches out for trainer Michael Stidham, who wins at 26% with this angle, and though her dam was winless in 11 starts she did cross the wire first once, in a turf route in which she was disqualified for impeding a rival. - Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race

9:50 RP 6th P R BULLET (#7, 4-1) has a proven rating gear, and that could be the difference in this abbreviated sprint, which features no shortage of early zip; he sat off the pace and made stretch bids in both of his two starts and given a stalking trip behind a fast, contested pace he figures to be ideally spotted to run them down on the wire. - Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race
