Since 1894, Daily Racing Form has been the most trusted source of horse racing news and information, making horseplayers better bettors by cashing more tickets. Here is a free daily playbook – something hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. DRF Past Performances (PPs) can be accessed at DRF.com.  Post Time: 12:40 ET Track: Aqueduct (3rd Race) Post Time: MEG’S FOXY GREY (#1, 4-1)  MEG’S FOXY GREY is a DRF Best Bet. – Mike Beer | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 12:49 ET Track: Gulfstream (6th Race) Horse: SIMO (#5, 15-1) SIMO has some decent tries before the long layoff. He hopped at the start in his return try and that is tough going seven panels. Class drop and first time going two turns should both help. Trainer stats are solid across the board. - Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 1:40 Track: Aqueduct (5th Race) Horse: DANIELLA MARIE (#7, 7-2) DANIELLA MARIE breezed the bullet 9.4 at Ocala in June, then showed speed and contested the pace for a long way before weakening in her debut; can do better with that experience behind her as she adds blinkers for the second start. - Mike Beer | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 2:17 ET Track: Gulfstream (5th Race) Horse: WINEMAN TRAX (#9, 30-1) WINEMAN TRAX loves the synth with the exception of his last race. Said race was carded for the green but was washed off and maybe, just maybe, that hurt. Plus, he was further back early than what he likes. This gelding gets in light and is often a good price - Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 3:39 ET Track: Aqueduct (8th Race) Horse: LIT SHIP (#8, 6-1) LIT SHIP (#8, 6-1) turns back to sprint after failing to stretch out effectively in a Grade 2 last month; she took a tough beat in her debut sprinting, then showed improved speed when dominating maidens in her next start at Kentucky Downs; cuts back. - Mike Beer | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:30 ET Track: Woodbine (1st Race) Horse: CANYOUHEARMERUNNIN (#1, 6-1) CANYOUHEARMERUNNIN wasn’t far back in fifth after a wide trip in his penultimate start here on the Tapeta and wasn't an impact player most recently in a sloppy allowance at Fort Erie. His trainer found the mark with a dropper the other day and this one is back at the price for which he was claimed last fall. - Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:30 ET Track: Del Mar (5th Race) Horse: SHAPOVAL (#4, 6-1) Trouble-prone SHAPOVAL drops from Cal-bred MSW to Cal-bred maiden-50 in this turf mile. If he gets a clean trip, he might finally win in the seventh start of his career. His best figures are highest in the field; this is the first time he has raced for a tag. Although his running lines are filled with trouble ("steady," "pinballed," "crowded," "bothered," "bumped"), this is his easiest chance yet. First start in three months, he can win if he runs back to any of three in-the-money finishes early this year. - Brad Free  | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:57 ET Track: Woodbine (4th Race) Horse: HARPER CITY (#5, 12-1)  HARPER CITY only missed the board once in his last six starts and should be prominent with his versatile speed in this $5K claimer, which is the new bottom level after previously being $7.5K. - Mary Rampellini | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 6:30 ET Track: Del Mar (7th Race) Horse: TITANIC THOMPSON (#3, 3-1) TITANIC THOMPSON a 1,200-pound gray beast, can win this Cal-bred N1X turf sprint with a forwardly placed trip while shortening from six furlongs to five. He ran well finishing third last out, but might have moved too soon. He opened up in midstretch, then got worn down to miss by a neck. Good try nonetheless. This five-furlong trip is okay, 'THOMPSON can win with a pressing trip outside his main pace rival. - Brad Free | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 7:53 ET Track: Woodbine (8th Race) Horse: RUN MATTEO RUN (#3, 7-2) RUN MATTEO RUN ran three-wide in a stalking position before coming up empty over a rail-favoring track when plunging to $10K Oct. 4. He's continuing his slide down the value ladder while shortening up for a top trainer with excellent route/sprint numbers. - Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race
