Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:31 BEL 2nd STANHOPE (#5, 6-1) went 0-5 last year as a 3yo, though he did get caught up in some fast-paced races and only made one turf start vs. claiming rivals; returns to turf as he starts back from the layoff and may be a bit better than he appears to be on paper. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:40 PIM 5th Speed has been doing well over this turf course and LOOKIN FOR CANDY (#9, 15-1) showed high octane in her last two starts on the main track. Battled hard with Ms. Haiti (finished last), put that one away turning for home and understandably faltered in the stretch. Not a bad turf effort last summer at Laurel, albeit in a very weak race. Pressed the odds-on winner’s solid pace before caving in during the final eighth. Shouldn’t be too far away turning for home at a solid price. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:02 BEL 5th QUIET OUT EAST (#7, 8-1) went nine furlongs off the break last time and he made a run into contention around the second turn, before ultimately flattening out behind a front-running winner; cuts back to a good distance for him (each of his last two wins came over a flat mile on this Widener course) and should have some pace in front of him here. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:11 PIM 6th NO CHANCE GIVEN (#1, 5-1) was claimed by Gonzalez after hard-trying fourth when dropped down to the $25,000 ranks. Brushed leaving the gate, she was outrun early behind a hot pace, raced in behind foes turning for home, gradually altered course down to the rail in midstretch and finished with interest and a nice gallop-out. Daughter of Grade 2-placed sprinter Olive Branch must prove her mettle at this higher class level. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:32 GP 6th BROTHER SATCHMO (#5, 8-1) showed some speed after bit of an awkward beginning debuting vs. MSW opposition. Returns on Lasix and with new pilot off series of decent a.m. trials. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:40 BEL 8th MAGISTERIUM (#5, 8-1) ran well in all four of her starts in England last summer prior to shipping over, and she also ran well in that Matron while rallying gamely through the stretch in a pace-dominated race; starts back going a bit longer but should handle the added ground based on her European form. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:59 LS 4th SCARLETTSBLACKJACK (#1, 3-1) hooked a multiple graded stakes winner last out in Mocito Rojo, who won in 1:09 and change that afternoon at Louisiana Downs and earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 93. This one was prominent for a while in the six furlong sprint and shortens up a tad in distance here to five-eighths of a mile. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:36 GP 8th SNOW SHOWER (#6, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:51 LS 8th STORMIEIS BLUE (#3, 8-1) caught a win-streaking stakes winner last out in Raintree Starlet. This one ran a credible third and might benefit if the race stays on the grass this time around as she put up her best career Beyer Figure on the green when facing males in the Remington Park Turf Sprint. In that race, she hooked the millionaire Welder. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:19 LS 9th LNGTERMRELATIONSHP (#8, 9-2) is appealing as a four-time winner facing some lessexperienced rivals. This one is from a stakes-placed mare who won five races and ran out more than $230K. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:30 MTH 6th MARKET (#3, 3-1) stretches out in his first start off the claim by trainer Derek Ryan and he seems to meet a fairly vulnerable field; he didn’t run badly in his lone route try to date, two back, and though that race was on the turf it at least proved that two turns shouldn’t be an issue for him, especially given a stalking trip behind the two inside speeds. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
