Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:50 GP 1st CASTLE LEOCH (#10, 7-2) leads what appears to be a potent Ward one-two combo in the opener along with INHERENT POWERS. Castle Leoch capped off decent looking series of works that included trio of efforts on grass with a bullet half from the gate. By American Pharoah and a half to stakes placed Kielbasa. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:31 BEL 2nd SHE SO NAUGHTY (#6, 6-1) posted her lone win on dirt (after being rained off the grass), but that was only after she had run quite well on this surface in her first two attempts; had no chance with the speedy Robin Sparkles in her turf debut last August, then ran better than it looks when stretched out for her next start when forced very wide off the turn, before gaining ground to finish 3rd; starts back at the right level and should have no problem with the distance. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:39 PIM 5th Although a half-sister to two stakes-placed dirt sprinters, it’s a Possibility that ONE FOR SURE (#1, 6-1) found 5 1/2 furlongs a bit too short for her liking in that career debut at Parx. After all, she’s by two-time Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Tiznow out of a half-sister to Grade 1-winning routers Traditionally, My Flag and Miner’s Mark, and the second dam is the great Personal Ensign. We’ll see if turf is what she ultimately wants, but this barn does well with second-time starters (7 for last 14, 50% winners, $6.95 ROI). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:34 BEL 6th FOREVER MO (#8, 6-1) won for this tag three back with an 88 Beyer before getting in over his head in a Grade 3, then got blocked behind horses in the stretch last time, - though it’s hard to say how much it wound up costing him at the end; underrated 5yo fits well here with his good race and is likely to go overlooked a bit in this spot. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:35 LS 1st SASSY KENZIE GIRL (#4, 3-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mary Rampellini). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:43 PIM 7th Not a ton of pedigree close up in UNION GEN. GEORGE’s (#7, 9-2) family as the sire is only 8 for 238 (3%) with first-turf runners and the dam is a half-sister to Grade 3-winning dirt sprinter No Dozing, but it appears this colt has found a nice spot for his debut. May 15 workout matches up with Delacour’s Cambeliza (89 turf Beyer). Perhaps they breezed in company. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:08 BEL 7th U GUYS ARE NO FUN (#1, 8-1) debuted sprinting vs. a solid field and, while she was never a threat, was racing on to the end behind a clear-cut, front-running winner; bred to stretch out and can easily improve enough to contend with this field. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:26 GP 8th TWELVE VOLT MAN (#7, 9-2) will have to improve dramatically to prove competitive with this group but does exit big half-mile breeze holding own with stakes placed mate Awesome Gerry last week at PM. Worth a look at what figures to be a decent price. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:40 BEL 8th COMEDY TOWN (#2, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:49 PIM 9th H R H JELLYBEAN (#9, 10-1) returns from 225 days on the sidelines for barn that scored earlier this meet with 190-day layoff runner Sheriff Chip. Went right to the front going longer at Laurel last fall, opened up turning into the stretch and tired in the final sixteenth. Shouldn’t be too far away when the real racing starts. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:27 LS 5th FOR REEF’S SAKE (#7, 9-2) was second at this level last out and as such is a logical choice back. The race also went in good time. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:44 SA 8th Class dropper NOBU (#6, 4-1) figures to lead gate to wire at low odds. She showed speed and tired all three starts vs. special-weight maidens, now drops to maiden-30, shortens to five and a half and will be ridden by the hot apprentice. Trainer Simon Callaghan won with 7 of his last 10 MSW-to-MCL favorites on dirt. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
