Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action. 12:40 GP 1st RAMADHAAN (#8, 9-2) drops to bottom for first time, returns to a surface she handled well enough earlier in the meet and Saez back aboard. Guided this one to solid 3rd place effort behind Saffie Joseph's 9-5 spirit of Power on turf two back. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 1:20 AQU 1st AVANT (#5, 3-1) didn't really improve last time when back out to this distance, though she did make the first run to go challenge the favorite on the lead before proving to be no match for a more patiently-ridden winner; didn't think she got a great trip two back when no threat to that impressive debut winner; one more try. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  1:27 TAM 3rd JETER AND JUDGE (#6, 5-1) is out of a dam who won her own career debut and then went on to score in her first career start on the turf, in an allowance race at Gulfstream; this colt has shown speed in some of his breezes and he meets a seemingly average field for the class level. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  1:38 GP 3rd LITTLE GIA (#4, 20-1) has the look of a sleeper making local bow off extended layoff and switching to the synthetic. Posted near bullet half on PM turf on 3/5 that matched that of mate Little Jewel who won the Captiva Island S. off that work a week later. Might just prove controlling speed if away cleanly. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 2:27 TAM 5th RHUMJAR (#3, 4-1) didn't break all that well in that return to turf last time out, and while he was closing nicely in the late stages he should be expected to be with the pace from the start today, assuming a clean getaway; turned in a couple of nice works in the interim and dangerous at a decent price if he can work out a forward trip and the fractions are mild. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 2:44 OP 3rd BRITTLE AND YOO (#7, 5-1) is appealing as a consistent performer and half-sister to stakes winner Out of Sorts ($303K). -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race 2:52 LRL 6th Looking for a price with LOOKIN FOR JUSTICE (#1, 8-1) who didn't run well earlier in the month, but has a few back races that would make him competitive against this group. Broke out and bumped a foe going two turns last time, set a fast and pressured pace inside of Only Child (993 lbs. on 3/11; +7 from prior start), came off the rail turning for home, then tired badly in between horses. Should be forwardly placed from the rail. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  2:55 AQU 4th CINDERELLA'S CAUSE (#2, 4-1) won her first two starts back from the layoff last November before getting in too tough over a pair of wet tracks in her next two starts; dropped back down last time and wound up jammed in behind horses for a long way after having to steady at the start; has to get the mile but might find herself on an easy lead here off the claim. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  3:00 TAM 6th I'M A CUTIE (#6, 8-1) is going to have to run a big race here, as she is at her best when on the lead and there's other speed in here, but she has room to improve off that last one, when she failed to rate effectively; also an upgrade candidate off the race two back, when against the race flow going seven panels. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 3:18 OP 4th WHAT A COUNTRY (#8, 9-2) has fired competitive races in each of his starts at the meet and could be sitting on a peak performance is his third out since November. He's a half-brother to Stronger Than Ever, a stakes winner of $196K. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  4:15 GG 1st KID STOLE A KISS (#6, 4-1) has a new rider for his second start around two turns in this modest $8,000 claimer for maidens. Leading jockey Assael Espinoza takes the mount for the first time on the 4-year-old gelding, who finished fifth of seven in a similar race at 1 1-16 miles on Feb. 17. Trained by Angelo Tekos, Jr., Kid Stole a Kiss had a steady pattern of works through March for this race and drew an outside post that should enable a stalking trip. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race 4:36 GP 9th NOVELLIE (#4, 10-1) broke poorly, finished well in promising debut and figures to catch a ton of pace while getting extra sixteenth to work with at second asking. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 4:45 TAM 9th CASTAWAY CAY (#10, 6-1) didn't earn the best of figures for that runner-up effort in her turf debut but she certainly ran well, and she has every right to take a step forward today off the layoff, and with Lasix added for the first time; should once again be ideally spotted just off the leader(s). -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 5:26 OP 8th AMERICAN LILY (#9, 6-1) was third in a quick race last out and note the winner goes later on the card in the Matron. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  6:15 GG 5th PRINCESA DEL TIGRE (#6, 4-1) was a good second in a maiden race at mile last October in her lone start at the distance and the experience should give her an advantage in this slightly longer race at 1 1-16 miles. Princesa Del Tigre set the pace in that race, and closed from seventh of 12 with a wide rally to finish third in her lone start this year in a maiden race at 5 1-2 furlongs. There is high likelihood she will be near the front in this field from an outside post. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race 6:26 OP 10th PRODIGIOUS BAY (#6, 6-1) has turned in strong efforts in each of his starts at the meet and could be sitting on a peak performance in his third out since October. He's from a stakes-winning mare who has produced a stakes winner in Miss Nondescript ($86K). -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race 6:30 SA 6th After being overmatched in a pair of N2X/optional claiming races, stakes winner KANDEREL (#5, 4-1) drops to $25k claiming and returns to a main-oval turf sprint. His last two wins (spring 2021) were on the flat. Claimed for $50k three back, dropping in class, he can rally for the win. Maybe. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race 7:45 GG 8th OCTANE (#1, 8-1) has shown improvement in two starts on the synthetic track this year and could get a favorable trip in this allowance race at six furlongs. The pace should be strong, which would aid Octane's closing style. In a field of nine, the key will be a clean trip from an inside post. Assael Espinoza rode Octane to a win in January and regains the mount. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race
