Julie Wright First post for Woodbine racing is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET on Friday.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action.

12:56 PIM 2nd TWO BY TWO (#4, 4-1) hit the board in his last three turf races at Canterbury Park last year. Saved ground in midpack when wired by favored Drama Chorus (returned to compile a 6-3-1-1 record at Tampa Bay with a 91 Beyer top; now a stakes-winner) in that 9/7 start, then tried to gain position in between horses leaving the backstretch. Checked and squeezed back at that juncture, he split rivals turning for home, and got up for second over two next-out winners. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:00 BEL 1st STATUS SEEKER (#3, 6-1) might have a slight advantage as the lone filly in those field to have prepped for the 2yo-in-training sale at Ocala in March; looked good breezing 10.1 there before selling for $45k and she is by the excellent first-out sire Upstart (19% with juvenile first-time starters); dam posted both career wins sprinting on dirt (88 Beyer top) and her first three foals are all winners (one debut winner); has an underrated debut trainer in her corner. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:51 GP 3rd SIGILOSO (#4, 12-1) turns back in distance, might just get enough pace to work with to spring the upset returning for a straight tag and off a couple of blistering drills over the Tapeta surface. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:56 PIM 4th WRITE THIS DOWN (#8, 9-2) returns to turf for the first time since being overmatched in a two-turn route in New York last fall. Pulled very hard while midpack and in between horses, then finished evenly inside without threatening. The third-finisher returned to compile a 4-1-2-0 record on turf and synthetic with a 78 Beyer top. Believe she's more comfortable at these shorter distances, and can threaten with a late bid. Carrasco lands here instead of My Lady's Aunt Ma. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:10 WO 3rd COMMANDER TOM (#7, 20-1) was squeezed back a little at the break before taking the long way home in his dull season opener, from which the classy runner-up Malibu Secret exited to romp against tougher with a 91 Beyer. Note that he peaked second time out last spring under Longshot Leo Salles. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:41 WO 4th LUV TO WIN (#5, 4-1) came up a half-length short after a three-wide pace-pressing trip when exiting an 8 1/2-month absence in a five-furlong Tapeta dash. The homebred doesn't have much turf breeding, but his tactical speed should come in handy here if he takes to the inner course. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:56 MTH 3rd LASSIE'S NOTION (#5, 6-1) lost her best chance at the start in her latest, as she was away slowly and she is at her best when on the lead, but she actually closed with some interest late; making that an even better effort is the fact that she was against a speed-favoring bias in that sprint, and she can rebound today given an alert getaway. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:03 BEL 5th LINARITE (#2, 6-1) improved on turf last April when splitting the field vs. MSW rivals routing but didn't get to make another start after that; returned from the long layoff last time to make a late run into third after working out a trip away from a solid pace; can take the necessary step forward second off the bench. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:24 MTH 4th ADHWAA (#7, 5-1) comes off a deceptively strong effort in her latest, an off-the-turf sprint where she rallied for the show behind a two-speed exacta, and she galloped out past the wire with good energy; she has a proven late kick and she can make the last run here given the extra sixteenth of a mile if she gets an honest pace to chase. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:55 GP 7th RIGBY (#1, 6-1) disappointed as the choice although did not have cleanest of trips vs. this same kind last time. Previous several outings point her out a major threat especially if able to sit off what figures to be a lively pace scenario considering make up of this lineup. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:17 WO 7th HEEZESPEEDY (#6, 15-1) has been working up a storm for his first outing since the fall and could wake up with blinkers on. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:12 BEL 9th SMART UNCLE (#9, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:27 GG 4th A surface switch and a fascinating pedigree make TOM'S PIC (#5, 6-1) a filly to consider in this modest $20,000 claimer for maiden 3-year-old fillies at a mile on turf. Tom's Pic is by Tom's Tribute who does well with turf routers. Tom's Pic is out of Letmetakeaselfie, who won twice on turf. Tom's Pic does not have attractive form in her first four starts, but did have a troubled start on May 20. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

8:21 SA 9th A mile and one-eighth is fine for BIRTH OF COOL (#1, 4-1), who won a maiden race last fall at this distance and finished second by a nose racing a mile on turf last out. The late-running gelding can sit, wait and mow them down. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

8:36 GG 8thA drop in class to a conditional $6,250 claimer at 5 1-2 furlongs should help GET'EM TIGER (#3, 6-1) reverse a five-race losing streak. Get'em Tiger won as recently as November in an $8,000 claimer, closing from fourth, and should get a favorable trip as a stalker in this field of seven. Get'em Tiger was recently transferred to trainer Jack Steiner, and worked a quick half-mile in 47.80 seconds on Saturday. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
