DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Friday, June 11, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
1:31 BEL 2nd TAKE CHARGE TINA (#2, 10-1) showed speed and tired when cut back to sprint on dirt in April, then ran an underrated race over a mile on turf last time when trying a wide move after a loose-on-the-lead winner; cuts back switching surfaces again. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:37 PIM 3rd UNEQUIVOCAL (#7, 6-1) won going sprint to route on two prior occasions and now wheels back on short notice after an even performance at three-quarters of a mile. The speed seemed to hold up in that race and Unequivocal tracked three wide at the back before swinging to the far outside turning into the stretch. Ran a good second at Charles Town off short rest three starts back. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:00 GP 1st BAHAMIAN GIRL (#5, 5-1) did not break cleanly, paid the price during latter stages facing same kind last month. Stays put off the claim, might not look back this time if leaving with the others, relaxing a lot easier on front end. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:28 GP 2nd DEAL GO DOWN (#2, 4-1) from barn off to good start here with its 2yos this season and with a couple of promising gate moves to suggest instant success despite facing a field of slightly more seasoned runners. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:11 PIM 6th REASSURED (#4, 8-1) was put in a tough spot for his turf debut as he was in against stakes horses for his first run following a 140-day layoff. Broke a beat slow, sat last off a moderate pace, swung wide turning into stretch and failed to threaten while hopping back to his left lead late. The fourth-finisher returned to place second in the off-the-turf Jersey Derby at Monmouth with a 77 Beyer. Adds blinkers for his first start as a gelding. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:08 BEL 7th TRUTH HURTS (#5, 15-1) had no chance with 1:5 Miss Brazil off the layoff and she made an early outside move to contention when stretched out to a mile last time, only to weaken in the stretch; cuts back and has run some races that suggest she can go with this field at a price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:40 BEL 8th DANCE SOME MO (#9, 15-1) couldn’t contain the favorite when switched to turf and stretched out for his second career start, then took a step forward following a slight layoff last time when denying a stern stretch challenge under strong handling; bred to stretch out and has tactical speed. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:12 BEL 9th TANNERS NECK LANE (#9, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:27 LS 5th KALLINIKI (#4, 9-2) goes for Broberg, who earlier this week was just four wins from career training victory No. 4,000. KALLINIKI is back on dirt and she ran a fine race on the main track at Oaklawn on April 9. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:23 LS 7th FLAT OUT AVENGER (#11, 10-1) cuts back to one turn and seems like a nice fit at this seven-eighths of a mile trip. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:51 LS 8th ROCKANDAHARDPLACE (#5, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mary Rampellini). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
7:00 MTH 5th WAVE JUMPER (#8, 6-1) is kin to five winners, including Sailor’s Revenge, a stakes winner who posted 10 victories and earned over $477K; that runner -- and the dam -- were best going longer but she has a pair of siblings who won sprinting and she has shown speed in the mornings. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
7:30 MTH 6th THE BIG S (#7, 5-1) has only raced on the turf once, and while he was off the board he hardly ran a poor race, beaten only four lengths against a field of allowance runners at Belmont; in that race he finished just behind Lonhtwist, who came out of there to win a pair of turf sprints in his next two starts, and this 5-year-old now makes his first start off the claim for Wayne Potts, who does well with grass sprinters. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
