Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

1:05 SAR 1st SUCCULENT (#1, 12-1) faced some experienced rivals up here on opening weekend and lost her best chance when stumbling awkwardly after the start to wind up last; raced on some late and can use that experience as she breaks from the rail and stretches out to six for her second start. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:15 SAR 3rd CONVECTION (#2, 12-1) was impressive breaking his maiden on debut with a solid 77 Beyer then wheeled back less than two weeks later to stalk the pace en route to winning again over a sloppy track; drops second off the claim and he is bred for turf. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:10 GP 5th A winner in 3 of her last 4, and 4 of her last 6, R KISS EM GOODBYE (#3, 9-2) jams right back for this open-$6,250 tag in typical Team Averill style, daring something else better to drop in class to get the better of her; don’t know who that might be, really; latest score came on the pace, but she’s shown herself able to rally from off it, too; logical pick if you’re forcing yourself to start the Rainbow 6 with a single. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:40 GP 6th Return to two turns on the grass seems to be just what SUNSHINE CITY (#9, 4-1) wants and needs; 3yo filly clearly was out of her element in the 6/27 main-track sprint, a race that can serve to sharpen her toward this; she ought to be prominent from the get-go here. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:00 MTH 1st FLY FLY AWAY (#4, 7-2) not only has some of the best Beyers in this field but he also has proven speed, which he used to his best advantage in his local debut last time, a win over non-winners of two; he meets better today but he’s good enough if he can run to his best figures, and if the pace is mild that’s a strong possibility. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:05 SAR 8th GALAWI (#2, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:19 WO 2nd STREET LEGAL (#1, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:30 MTH 2nd MAC’S REVOLUTION (#1, 3-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:39 SAR 9th MILES D (#1, 10-1) stepping up off of a maiden win into a tough, if well-matched, running of the Curlin but doing so with some things to recommend. He debuted in a very strong maiden race at the end of last year from which the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 8th place finishers have since won stakes races; started back over a mile last time and won that race easily at the end after a bit of a fight past midstretch; bred to stretch out and is perfectly drawn. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:13 SAR 10th TO THE TUNE (#12, 10-1) debuted sprinting on turf last year where he chased a fast pace at a big price and was no match while not being hard used late; tries one more time to get on the turf after having her first two starts as a 3yo rained off and she will be facing maiden claimers for the first time on this surface should she get the chance. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:30 MTH 4th EXXTOP (#3, 7-2) exits a decent abbreviated sprint and now gets back to six furlongs, and though he settled for the show at this distance two back he ran a nice race in defeat there, making a mid-race run and reaching the lead in the lane before tiring in the late stages; has the speed to stay close from the start and could fall into a nice stalking trip behind the inside pair. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:50 GP 10th Eight weeks and two works since being assimilated into the Imaginary program, PEARLESCENT (#1, 5-1) resurfaces for the same $12.5k tag for which she was claimed; gray gal has several factors in her favor, including the rail and Zayas and the fact she’s already proven competitive at this level; some fans will see enough in her to make her a single in all their end-of-card multi’s. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:55 WO 5th FIVE DAYS IN MAY (#1, 6-1) got away slowly before closing belatedly for second in a recent optional starter going seven-eighths. The closer has lots of speed to chase in the six-furlong sprint for $20K claimers. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

7:00 DMR 1st Winning first time out is tough enough but to try to do it routing is even tougher. Nevertheless, there are more than a few positives attached to firster FINNLEY’S KITTEN (#4, 20-1) as the filly has lots of works to indicate ample bottom, hails from a barn that does well first time out and lures Prat. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

8:30 DMR 4th TAMING THE TIGRESS (#5, 5-1) came back after over 9 months to be a good 2nd at SA June 18. Not only was she dealing with a layoff that was her first start vs. winners. She can surely benefit from that run and Prat stays for Miller, with whom he’s had much success (31% the past 19-plus months). -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:00 DMR 5th MOMMA MOCCA (#6, 6-1) has done something no one else in here has done - finish 1st under the wire. Trouble is, she got DQ’d from that ‘win’ at GG last summer. But the filly was well regarded enough to later get a stakes shot there, and then after a long layoff (8 months) came back vs. boys at GG June 10 and was a respectable 4th. She can benefit from that outing and surely from today’s return to facing fillies only. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

10:00 DMR 7th BIG BUZZ (#3, 8-1) has been something of an in-and-outer. After all, he was 2nd in a long stakes at TUP May 1 but then a dull 8th going 9fs at this level at SA May 31. It’s encouraging there’s no panicky class drop and that Prat takes the call 9the last time they teamed up the result was a win) and he’s shown he can get this trip. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
