2:56 MTH 3rd BAAGY (#6, 5-1) is by a 20% debut turf sire. His dam went 6-0-1-3 in Ireland. One of two sibs won on the grass in the United States while another sib went 1-0-0-1 in Ireland. The Pino barn is 3 for 5 with their first time turfers. 3:24 MTH 4th Willy MC (#4, 4-1) didn’t do much off the layoff but didn’t get much play either when sent off at 11-1. Connections drop this guy in class and adds blinkers and maybe that tips their hand. They are 19% with first blinkers. Trainer John Sadler, who trained BC Classic winner Accelerate, won with 4 of 12 debut 2yos since last summer.
