Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:25 LRL 1st  ALBERTANO (#6, 5-1) deserves another opportunity after difficult trip over sloppy going. Broke slowly, raced very wide on the backstretch and through the turn behind a slow pace, and could only must an even rally behind a gate-to-wire winner. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  12:59 GP 2nd  POIEMA (#6, 9-2) a disappointment back on main last time but handled the Tapeta well enough against what may have been stronger group two back to merit one more chance over this surface. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 1:28 GP 3rd STARLITE WALKER (#7, 4-1) showed speed while well backed trying tricky distance at first asking on main now switches to grass, might get brave if able to control this one from the outset as expected on stretch around two turns. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  1:43 TAM 4th IDEAL BREEZE (#7, 4-1) tries this distance for the first time in her Tampa debut but she lands in a very good spot in terms of the pace scenario, as she appears to be the controlling speed for trainer Jorge Delgado; she was well up the track in her last two starts off the layoff but she should find the locals more her speed. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 1:56 LRL 4th VISUAL ARTIST (#6, 6-1) will be tested for class hiking up from the dime "three-life" level, but it's possible the son of Breeders' Cup Classic winner Bayern found his niche going a route of ground. Although the pace was solid last time, thought he worked out a good trip overall as he pressed 30 to 1 shot Alpha Queue (finished fourth) before dominating that bunch in the stretch. Likely to use his speed to set the tone once again. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 2:43 TAM 6th OIL MONEY (#4, 2-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race 2:50 AQU 5th CROSS ISLAND (#11, 8-1) is tough to back with much confidence as she blasted $25k maidens here over a year ago, hasn't been seen since, returns first time vs. winners while down in price. The good news is Nevin does well off a long layoff like this and she might not need to be as good as she was 13 months ago to beat these. We just saw a similar scenario Saturday where Prisoner, a huge winner a long time ago, came back, on the drop, and romped. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race  3:25 AQU 6th AMERICAN RULE (#6, 6-1) got good in the early fall but then came 2 dull outings. However, Morey saw fit to claim him for $32K here Dec. 11 when a dull 11th and the 7yo responded next timeout here Jan. 28 with a good 3rd. It looks as though he's back on track and today's slight drop, by a barn pushing all the right buttons, may be just what the Dr. ordered. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race 3:52 TUP 4th COPPER CHARM (#2, 6-1) looks even better if you discount that turf try two back. This filly has improved her Beyer in every dirt start. She broke her maiden going one turn and did so after breaking dead last from the rail. This barn is 21% route to sprint. This filly has some tactical speed and the best upside. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race 4:11 GP 8th KOZY DREAMS (#8, 12-1) the best late threat in a field featuring plenty of speed. Might just reverse those last several setbacks behind Domineer with expected help up front. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 4:21 TAM 9th JIMMY THE BOOT (#8, 7-2) failed to threaten in his Gulfstream debut but the resulting Beyer makes him a top contender in his first try at Tampa; can certainly improve upon that figure if he gets a faster pace to chase, which seems likely. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 4:22 TUP 5th MY INDY (#9, 8-1) loves this sod and just ran a Beyer top so why not take a shot versus stakes foes. This gelding has some tactical speed to help his trip and keeps the leading rider in Harry Hernandez. Second time with new barn can only help. Here is the rare horse that just doesn't need morning workouts or is working somewhere else. A better price than some and that rounds out the appeal. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race 4:27 LRL 9th SCINTILLIO (#8, 6-1) adds Lasix after finishing with late interest as the beaten favorite in second lifetime start. Off a beat slow, he stalked in between horses, eased outside turning for home and was up for third. The sixth-finisher returned to earn stereo 57 Beyers when graduating for $25,000 and then finishing third for $40,000. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 4:33 OP 6th CHOCTAW CHARLIE (#4, 9-2) is a consistent sort who is stakes-placed over the local strip. She's also out of a mare who won 12 races. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race 4:42 GP 9th TRUPIA (#3, 5-1) vanned off after holding own despite eventful trip in local bow but the fact she comes right back encouraging enough to give another chance on drop for this tag. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 5:04 OP 7th SUPER WONDER GIRL (#7, 6-1) was third for this price last out and is a logical choice back. MEGAN'S CLARA is back at one turn and also exits a key race against steeper. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race 5:59 TUP 8th SHORE BREAK (#8, 5-1) is bred to love the grass and that is why connections have tried nothing but the sod in her first five starts. This filly just ran a Beyer top and did so going only 6 1-2 furlongs so today's added ground can only help. Team Drysdale is very good at shipping horses here (2 for 2). We love this filly's upside and notice that she has improved her Beyer in every start. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race 7:40 WBS (Harness) 3rd FINAL CLAIM (#6, 4-1) is one of the class droppers who should dominate this race, and Final Claim broke in the lane at the exact moment that he found racing room and looked dangerous vs. better last week. - Garnet Barnsdale | Get PPs for this race 7:55 YR (Harness) 4th CHAMPAGNE ON ICE (#2, 5-2) qualified sharply with the trotting hobbles added, one of my favorite angles. – Matt Rose | Get PPs for this race 10:00 MED (Harness) 11th SONIC FLARE (#1, 3-1) went a tough mile and held very well last week for a barn that displayed clear signs of coming out of its slumber. – Derick Giwner | Get PPs for this race
