Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:20 AQU 1st FAST BOAT TO SKYE (#2, 15-1) landed in a pretty tough spot on debut going seven furlongs in a race that was dominated by a heavily-backed Pletcher firster, and from which the second and third finishers both returned to win; actually showed some speed in that race from the gate, though he had no chance to go with Rudder's Men and wound up tiring readily after doing some chasing; back as a new gelding with some pedigree behind him; deserves another chance and might be a price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  1:06 GP 3rd SILVER N BLACK (#1, 5-1) stretches to a mile for third start of form cycle while getting Edgard back in irons. Should sit good trip either on or stalking pace of Certain. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  1:25 LRL 3rd Might have been a slight outside bias on Thanksgiving and WALK AWAY JOE (#9, 9-2) spent a good amount of time on the rail. Broke sharp and set a pressured pace along the fence before being rated back to avoid a duel; looped by the winner, he wound up in the pocket on the far bend and was outpaced at the five-sixteenths. Got outside for a three-wide bid, but the winner had too much of a head start. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  1:31 TAM 3rd CITY SPEAKER (#8, 10-1) didn't break well in her seasonal and local debut, then was caught well off the pace in a race lacking speed; expecting a better effort today, as long as she can get away cleanly from the gate. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:31 TAM 5th CINDY'S SONG (#13, 10-1) exits sprints and lands in a race that appears to be light on pace, and that should mean she's a pace factor from the start; may have a tactical edge on the closers as a result. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:42 AQU 6th BON ADIEU (#1, 6-1) makes a belated debut with some solid works showing for Gargan, who is 3 for his last 7 with older (three-and-up) first-time starters sprinting on dirt (43%, $4.51 ROI); unraced dam is a sister to Mike Lee winner Preachintothedevil and this is her first foal; second dam is Grade 1 Prioress winner Acey Duecey. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  2:51 LRL 6th Perhaps the extra distance and new blinkers helped MOSE PERFECT (#6, 9-2) achieve his potential. Tracked three wide (perhaps the best part of the track that day) behind a solid pace for most of the way in two-turn debut, went after the leader turning for home, and grinded that one down in the final sixteenth. Came close to the Beyer par for this level and still retains upside potential. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  3:05 GP 7th ONE AMERICA (#2, 6-1) gets shaky call in a race loaded with contenders. Looks loose on the lead if away running, not badly beaten by Sponsored in Laurel finale, the latter posting 80 Beyer in subsequent try vs. better. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  3:22 OP 5th OLD SCHOOL FLASH (#4, 12-1) is appealing for her racing experience and her third-place finish last out at Remington Park. She owns what ranks as this field's best last-race Beyer Figure. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  3:57 TAM 8th PURE ELEGANCE (#7, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race  4:04 GP 9th NINJA ABARRIO (#2, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch). | Get PPs for this race  4:08 AQU 9th JOEYBIGNOSE (#10, 8-1) is a half-sister to a pair of multiple winners from this dam, who won on debut and is a sister to Grade 1-winning sprinter My Trusty Cat; dangerous up from Florida to make her debut for Joseph - first-time starter, maiden claiming, dirt, sprint: 11 for his last 36, 31%, $2.99 ROI. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  4:16 LRL 9th SHOOT THEMESSENGER (#3, 9-2) might have aimed a bit too high in recent second-level allowance. Outrun early behind a quick pace while saving ground, he passed some tired horses in the stretch and galloped out best going into the clubhouse turn. He won the last time he went from sprint to route, but will likely need some pace to adequately setup his late kick. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  5:30 LRC 5th SONIC BREES (#6, 9-2) comes here sharp and a few have obviously seen a lot they like as he's been claimed in 3 straight. He comes off a good 2nd for this price sprinting at SA Oct. 28. Off the claim Ganbat moves him to a route and while he hasn't played this game yet on dirt he's certainly bred for it. This guy was once well considered as he got a G2 shot as a 2yo and another stakes opportunity in 2021 as a 3yo. His sprint speed can help him flee the outside post. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race  6:30 LRC 7th SO IT WOULD SEEM (#4, 5-1) couldn't handle DOUBLE FANTASY when 2nd to that foe at DMR Sept. 11 but has taken her game up a notch or 2 with a couple smart wins since. Miller not only saw fit to claim her for $20K off that nice Nov. 19 DMR win (and is strong off the claim), it's most encouraging to see him bring her back where he can't lose her to another claim. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race  8:07 RP 1st EASTER JIM (#4, 8-1) did little in his debut but breaking last didn't help matters nor going wide. He did get race experience and that is what matters most. His dam was un-raced and this is her first foal yet this guy got some play in his debut. Most runners improve second time racing. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  9:31 RP 4th PRINCESS BALL (#2, 12-1) is by a 14% debut sire. Her dam was un-raced. Of 5 sibs to race, 4 won with 3 having beat winners. Works are well spaced and this barn is 24% with debut maidens. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  9:40 WBS (Harness) 9th WESTERN WISH (#4, 2-1) dropped and dominated last week as expected and I’ll give her the call to repeat coming off that strong winning effort; best bet.  – Garnet Barnsdale | Get PPs for this race  9:55 YR (Harness) 10th REYS N A RUCKUS (#3, 8-1) was aggressively handled last week upon shipping in to Yonkers but he came up a bit short at 51/1. He'll take action tonight but still should offer some value and he can win this with a similar effort. – Matt Rose | Get PPs for this race  10:55 RP 7th BRICK TOWN (#12, 10-1) is the value. His most recent was better and he did so from the outside and that is where he draws today. Best efforts have come on the grass but this guy isn't bred to like that surface (245 turf Tomlinson). What if this guy just has some talent whether on the dirt or turf? Class jump is a good sign and full field helps everyone's price. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  11:51 RP 9th CHROME BABY (#12, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race
