Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:50 GP 3rd Turning back from a mile, REMASTER (#5, 6-1) stands to pick up a bunch of these down the stretch when making his fifth start for the turf-savvy DiBona; steady gelding yet to run a bad one for this barn. -Marty McGee
1:10 SAR 1st OUR DESTINY (#3, 8-1) had speed on dirt as a 2yo and has faced open company in both starts since switching to turf this year; lost to a 20:1 shot in his first turf start, but that horse was dominant in wiring that field with a 77 Beyer, then bumped into another strong, front-running winner at Monmouth last time (Francatelli also earned a 77 Beyer in that win, then returned to win his next start with a 94 on dirt). -Mike Beer
1:33 WO 2nd CASH ADVANCE (#3, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink).

1:46 LRL 3rd LITTLE BOLD BANDIT (#1, 5-1) is a full brother to the redoubtable multiple stakeswinning dirt sprinter Anna’s Bandit (17 for 36 lifetime, juvenile debut winner). Dam went 4 for 5 at two including a debut win and a victory in the $100,000 Miss Shenandoah Stakes. Bullet workout from the gate last week for high-percentage Jerry Robb stable. -Dan Illman
2:07 WO 3rd DARK ALE (#3, 8-1) dominated $10K maidens in his second start off a 1 1/2-year layoff July 19, from which the third-place finisher exited to beat $7.5K maidens with a 49 Beyer. The 6yo has worked a half-mile since, and is an excellent fit in this $15K NW2 sprint Beyer-wise. -Ron Gierkink
2:15 LRL 4th MARKET MONEY (#4, 9-2) was very competitive at this class level last year for Jerry Robb and now takes a needed drop for Crystal Pickett after being sent off at long odds in three allowance heats to kick off her campaign. Taken in hand to stalk the pace in between horses last time out, she eased out in the stretch and couldn’t quicken with a field that produced next-out 65-Beyer runner-up Olive Kate (off-the-turf entry-level allowance at Delaware). Believe she’s racing herself back into shape and needs only to get a fair pace to threaten with a late bid. -Dan Illman
3:06 GP 7th Giving the edge in what’s one of the deeper races of the day to ANOTHER SOFTBALL (#9, 7-2) on the premise he surely needed the 7/10 comeback when making his first start under the Joe C. banner; speedy sort can push them even farther today. -Marty McGee
3:18 WO 5th SOEXOTIC (#3, 6-1) is 2 for 2 on the Tapeta this year, races which sandwiched a third for $40K on the inner turf, during which she pressed the pace before weakening. A less-aggressive approach in this lesser event should enable her to do some damage. -Ron Gierkink

3:51 WO 6th HELL BENT (#6, 4-1) raced wide most of the way over an inside-biased track when a lapped-on second following a layoff in his local debut July 24. The move up from $15K to $25K maidens shouldn’t be a problem for the Casse runner. -Ron Gierkink
4:14 GP 9th Have to appreciate how ROBIN TEAM SHOW (#3, 9-2) ran along for 2nd in his first turf try since early in the year; ground-saving ride from Meneses can find him produced late in what shakes out as a pretty tough Friday finale. -Marty McGee
4:32 LRL 8th QUIET IMAGINATION (#6, 3-1) was competitive in all of her dirt sprints here last year and returns to the circuit following a couple of solid performances at Delaware Park. Tracked the leaders in between horses last time, maneuvered to the rail while urged on the turn, angled three wide into the lane and scored despite drifting out a bit under left-handed urging. Adaptable from a tactical standpoint as she has won in gate-towire fashion as well as from off the pace. -Dan Illman
5:30 DMR 2nd DRIPPIN SAUCE (#7, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Brad Free).
6:30 DMR 4th GET’EM TIGER (#6, 5-1) returns to the sprint game, returns to the main track, and drops for the first time into a $50k claiming race for maiden Cal-breds. Her Northern California runner-up sprints in May and June earned figures that are fast enough for these; her ninth-place finish last out in a turf route is a toss. She can win rallying from off the pace. -Brad Free
6:49 MTH 5th CROATIAN (#9, 5-2) overcame a slow pace to win with a late inside run in his latest, and though the slow splits made it tough for him to post a fast final time the resulting Beyer makes him a threat today; should get a better set up here, as there’s plenty of speed to is inside, and that only figures to help his cause as he looks to make the last run once again. -Kenny Peck
7:00 DMR 5th A promising third in a stakes for Cal-breds in his career debut, SCOOBY (#1, 8-1) stretches to a mile, moves to grass and drops into a maiden race with an apparent advantage on ability over his rivals in this turf mile for maiden 2-year-olds. Based on pedigree, grass should be just fine. -Brad Free

7:19 MTH 6th KITTEN STREET (#9, 4-1) looms the controlling speed in a race that’s light on same, and he has proven himself on dirt and turf, which is an important consideration given the possibility of a surface switch after very heavy rains in Oceanport on Wednesday; he’ll be tough to reel in if he’s allowed to get away uncontested and set his own fractions. -Kenny Peck
8:07 RP 1st MIZONEY (#3, 9-2) ran a credible race against open company last out and now returns to the statebred ranks with the meet on at Remington Park. -Mary Rampellini
9:03 RP 3rd PADDY O’DINI (#9, 6-1) returns to the straight claiming ranks, site of his last win, and also returns to turf, site of his best career Beyer Speed Figure. -Mary Rampellini
9:30 DMR 10th Runner-up last out in a similar turf mile for Cal-bred maidens, ROCKIE CAUSEWAY (#1, 7-2) figures to start favored again in the third start of her career. The outside post last time (12 of 12) did not help; she starts this turf mile from the rail. But her second-place finish looks better on paper than video. She definitely is the one to beat, but does not “have to” win at low odds. -Brad Free
11:23 RP 8th PIONEER SPIRIT (#5, 4-1) appears to have more natural speed than most of these, which could give him a tactical advantage. He also ran a strong race at a mile and an eighth earlier in his career, in the Grade 2 Oaklawn Handicap. -Mary Rampellini
