Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 2:00 GP 1st Latest effort by BLAZINONBAYOU (#11, 6-1) in a full 12-filly field points her out as legit as she now makes her 3rd start since shipping cross-country; a little follow-thru would do here. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race  2:32 GP 2nd Some 4 months after getting drubbed in a MSW dash, WOW TAPIT (#5, 8-1) resurfaces for a near-bottom $16k tag with a few drills as recent preparation; gray gal stands to improve in a big way in this wide-open spot, perhaps even at a price for a barn (A.Sanchez) known to put the occasional one over. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race  2:57 PIM 5th CLAIRE'S DARLING (#4, 6-1) wasn't embarrassed in first start off the Allen claim as she battled with Grand Skylark through a quick opening quarter before being outpaced on the turn. She stayed on nicely along the rail for a piece and should be forward once again. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 3:06 GP 3rd Speed-show in her first and only makes FURCIFEROUS (#11, 15-1) a consideration in another full field of babies, even on this slight raise to the $35k level; moving over to the turf probably can't hurt, nor can the favorable outer draw; gray dude a live one for the crafty Braddy barn. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race  3:21 SAR 5th KINGHAM HILL (#3, 12-1) a colt by Declaration of War (wins with 11% of bis 2yo firsters, 15% of his turf routers) from a dam who has dropped several turf performers already, including multiple winner Codrington; Donk just 3 for his last 43 with first-time starters on grass but all three of those wins have come at Saratoga (3 for 8 in that sample at the Spa with two winners at 9:1 and the other at 38:1). -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  3:55 SAR 6th LA DRAGONTEA (#3, 4-1) improved at the end of her 3yo campaign in England prior to shipping over and she was sharp while controlling the pace and winning with something in hand going ten furlongs in her first start for Clement; never came clear after rating behind a slow pace in that shorter race two back; drops out of a tougher race going longer and lands in a race where she might be able to revert to more aggressive tactics. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  5:05 SAR 8th ROYAL REALM (#10, 5-1) tried two turns on the drop earlier in the meet and kept on to the end while unable to reach a front-running winner; don't mind him cutting back for this as he goes off the claim for a trainer who doesn't reach in too often. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race 5:56 MTH 3rd WILL TOO SHY (#9, 5-1) is entered for the Main Track Only in his first start off the claim by Doug Nunn (33% with fresh claims) and given the extended weather forecast there does seem to be a decent chance that he gets to run; it's interesting that he will not run on the turf, as that debut try was solid, as he closed well to get the place behind a runaway favorite who posted a decent figure in victory. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 6:13 SAR 10th SALINO (#1, 6-1) landed in a pretty strong race when making her turf debut off the layoff and wound up just missing second behind a dominant, front-running winner after breaking from the far outside post; moves in while dropping in class after showing speed on dirt last time. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race 6:53 WO 5th DOWNY BOY (#8, 9-2) was competitive around two turns on the inner turf in the past. He's bringing excellent Tapeta sprint form to this optional starter, and should be prominent if he stays in the zone. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  7:20 MTH 6th ABSOLUTE ANNA (#8, 5-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race 7:22 WO 6th PIVEN (#7, 6-1) made a bid to vie for the lead on the turn before weakening to third when moving up to this $40K class last time in his debut for Drexler, who's won at a 21% clip second-time off the claim in the past five years ($1.42 ROI). His tactical speed should be an asset in a field without a confirmed front-runner. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  7:51 WO 7th FROSTED ICING (#2, 9-2) missed the break before failing to threaten most recently in an N1X on the Tapeta. The Frosted gelding was previously victorious at first asking in a five-furlong maiden special dash on the inner turf, and should get back on track here with blinkers added to his equipment. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  8:20 WO 8th CHAIRMAN FOX (#5, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race
