2:33 GP 4th WINK OF AN EYE (#1, 8-1) is by a 17% debut sire (all sire stats are for 2YO's only). Her dam went 14-1-1-3 and earned 53K. Of 4 sibs to race, 3 won and all 3 beat winners (two best earned 521K (won 2YO debut) and 282K)). Both are full siblings. Works are well spaced for this January bred who has an age advantage over most of these. – Scott Ehlers
3:13 WO 5th RED DESIGN (#9, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink).
3:17 SAR 5th EVIE DOES IT (#6, 8-1) ran an underrated race on turf last May when caught inside in the stretch as the favored winner rallied out in the clear; only managed one additional start as a 3yo before missing time, and she appeared to be prepping in that short sprint last month when putting in a solid late run into a sharp winner; interesting at a price as she stretches back out for the second start off the layoff. – Mike Beer
4:46 GP 8th LADY MONIQUE (#2, 15-1) has run back to back Beyer tops and that includes beating first time winners in her most recent. We like how she won her most recent as she looked great gobbling up that field. She tries two turns on the dirt for the first time but we think that actually helps. Her other two turn route came on the grass where this filly only lost by 4 1/2 lengths. Others have better figs but that just means another good price for this improving 3YO. Oh, we love it that she has worked twice since her most recent. – Scott Ehlers
4:50 WO 8th NOW YOU SEE ME (#11, 6-1) awaited room on the far turn before rallying for second last out in a similar spot, from which the winner exited to run second vs. $8K NW3 claimers with a 59 Beyer at Fort Erie. Wilson replaces the departed Kimura and she has solid stats for this high-percentage barn. – Ron Gierkink

6:42 SAR 11th TRUE MYTH (#4, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).
7:32 DMR 4th SUMMER CHIEF (#10, 10-1) may be primed to graduate. The 4yo gelding is trending the right way, topped off by a sharp 2nd in a race like this here July 25. That shows not only his improving form but that he handles this track, trip and level. Four of his five sibs to race are winners including Brazilian Summer (37-4-7-2, $64K). – Michael Hammersly
