Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:55 LRL 2nd Looking for a price with HIPNOTIZADA (#2, 12-1), who was listed as a vet scratch at Charles Town on 2/21, and now returns from a 113-day layoff. Outran her 72-1 odds on Woodbine's Tapeta two back as she set the pace inside the odds-on winner, then stayed on for the place. Ran third sprinting on the grass at 34-1 last summer at Penn National when facing five next-out winners. Veteran mare is on a long losing streak, but has the tactical speed to sit close to the pace. -Dan Illman 1:10 GP 1st BIGBOUQUETOFROSES (#8, 6-1) draws the attack post going this tricky distance and gets second Lasix. Her return try was better than it looks as any elongated sprint off a layoff is tough. A recent work rounds out the appeal. -Scott Ehlers 1:20 AQU 1st BADGE OF WAR (#1, 6-1) has yet to love up to his ample pedigree, which does suggest that longer is better; started out on turf for Cox and did move forward in his second start before getting time off; was with Jacobson for the 3yo debut and was dropped in class (something that trainer tends to do) and did not get a great trip in that race before checking in a no-threat 4th; up off the claim stretching out. -Mike Beer  1:32 KEE 3rd Need someone other than the short prices in this N1X turf route and there are some things to like about RIGHT NOW (#4, 15-1). Moved far forward after the $15,000 N2L claim in February 2023, but required an extended layoff before returning March 27. Connections that claimed her kept the filly in allowance company her last three starts of 2023 and now hold form at the level two starts into 2024. -Marcus Hersh 1:42 GP 2nd LAMCARO (#3, 6-1) ran evenly in his debut on the green but got little play when sent off at 53-1. He still beat over half the field home. He is still bred to love a turf sprint with Tomlinsons of 336/373. The Miller barn is 2 for 3 with second time maidens and 33% when returning a horse between 31 and 60 days. Lots and lots of works since his debut bodes well as does Reyes staying put. -Scott Ehlers  2:14 GP 3rd PURECRAZIGROOVE (#1, 6-1) tries seven panels for a third time and who doesn't like that? He won his debut but broke last in his second start yet still ran a Beyer top. His last race came back key when 2 of 3 returned to win with Beyers of 68 and 70. New barn is 42% off the claim. We like how this 3YO has worked at least three times since his return try not to mention putting races back to back. -Scott Ehlers 2:23 AQU 3rd FUNKENSTEIN (#5, 5-1) dropped off the short layoff last time and tried a wide run before finishing evenly into a pace that wasn't really coming back for the closers; has better races to get to, and is also capable of keeping closer early, as he goes off the claim for Rudy. -Mike Beer  3:23 LRL 7th HOT DANCE (#7, 8-1) makes turf debut out of a half-sister to Grade 2-winning turf miler Conquest Enforcer (Canadian grass champion). Beaten favorite on dirt last time out, she has more of a grass and synthetic pedigree, and earned career-best Beyer in most recent synthetic start. Saved ground in midpack behind a fast pace in that Woodbine effort, cut the corner into the stretch, eased to split rivals three wide, then finished evenly with a solid gallop-out. -Dan Illman 3:41 TAM 7th CHANNEL'S DAUGHTER (#2, 12-1) is out of a dam who posted her lone career win in a dirt sprint but she produced three winners from four starters, including Happy Thought, whose lone win came on the grass; sports a steady string of works for this debut for a barn with only one winning firster going back to 2019, but five of those 24 runners hit the board. -Kenny Peck  4:10 AQU 6th ALLOFASUDDENLEE (#4, 6-1) is by underrated sire Superestrella and is a full-brother to a turf sprint winner; homebred attracts Franco for capable first-out trainer Falcone, and appears to be training forwardly up to his first start. -Mike Beer  4:12 TAM 8th PISTOL OR SHOTGUN (#8, 8-1) is down in price after a dull try against richer in his first seasonal debut, which makes him eligible to improve, but he can also take a step forward in this second start off the layoff if he needed that first start back; slightly longer distance should help the cause, and there is a fair amount of speed in this field. -Kenny Peck  4:18 GP 7th IN OUR TIME (#5, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers).  4:38 KEE 9th TWO ITEM SAVER (#6, 20-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh).  4:44 TAM 9th STARSTRUCK NOTION (#10, 5-1) returns from the layoff for trainer Pat McBurney and he can win this off the bench if he's able to run to his last couple of Beyers prior to the break; has the speed to stay close from the start, which could prove to be an edge in this finale, which is relatively light on speed. -Kenny Peck  5:09 KEE 10th ROSE COLLECTOR (#6, 15-1) won career debut over a route of ground on MTH turf and raced respectably bumped up to a 12-horse Kentucky Downs stakes, which was run around one turn. Returned to action in a tougher spot than this, likely "needed" the race, and is first Lasix as possible leader at a longer route distance he might like. -Marcus Hersh 7:21 GG 5th HONORABLE GAL (#4, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Steve Andersen). 8:29 LS 3rd MISS CARMEN CIBO (#1, 6-1) has speed and draws the rail all in a race without a ton of zip. Current form is only OK but maybe that helps if the stalkers in this race simply let this filly go early. We like how this 4YO puts three races together and has a pair of local works. Wire please. -Scott Ehlers  9:50 LS 6th CAJUN CHROME (#4, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). 10:44 LS 8th STORM MAN (#9, 12-1) won his debut even though it was two turns on the green. We like that connections want a turf route right back. This horse is bred to love two turns on the green with turf and distance Tomlinsons of 338 and 351. This barn is 15% with horses that won their last race and 15% on the grass. They are even better with their allowance runners at 23% (flat bet profit). A recent work bodes well. -Scott Ehlers
