DRF.com services interrupted, client sites affected

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Due to the continuing outage of communications services in lower Manhattan Wednesday, Daily Racing Form is unable to transmit data from its 100 Broadway offices to its Web servers. As a result, DRF.com is unable to make available any past performance data to its subscribers other than what is currently available on the site until further notice. A definitive time for when these services will be restored cannot be determined as of 10:00 p.m. Eastern Thursday.

DRF.com users should also be aware that this situation has caused DRF's Carryover Watch, Horse Watch, Trainer Watch and Race Watch services to cease generating and distributing notifications to subscribers of these services, both via email and posting to the Web site.

Web sites hosted by Daily Racing Form's hosting services group have also been affected by the current situation. The Web site will be redirected to another IP address Friday. Thoro-Graph sheets and Thoro-Quick race summaries should both be available by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Friday.
