She is two-for-two on it, having won the back-to-back runnings of the Matchmaker. In sharp form and making the third start of her current form cycle, she looks poised for a peak effort. OVERHEARD ran a close second to the classy Tannery over this course in her seasonal bow before heading back up to her home base at Woodbine and winning the Grade 2 Dance Smartly there; on the board in all 12 starts. NELLIE CASHMAN, cross entered in the Grade 2 Ballston Spa at Saratoga Saturday, is likely better suited to the easier company in this race – though this field is deeper. She wins infrequently but often gets pieces and looks capable of a minor award if she goes here.
