FAVORITE TALE shifts back to his best surface on dirt for the Jersey Shore after a close third at Saratoga on grass in a turf sprint stakes there. A speedy colt, he has compiled a 4 for 10 record and regularly runs Beyer Speed Figures in the 90s, and once in the 100s. DEBT CEILING went off form in the summer of last year after winning the Bashford Manor and three other races as a juvenile; returned with a close third in his seasonal bow behind Coup De Grace and FAVORITE TALE. GLACKEN TOO also seems to be rounding into form after a slow start to his summer campaign; though his last two races have been on turf, this is a horse that fared his best on dirt at Fair Grounds and Oaklawn Park earlier in the year.
