DRF Plus Graded Stakes Analysis: Adirondack Stakes
2. Cavorting
3. Vivian Da Bling
ANGELA RENEE impressed in winning at first asking, not only scoring in fast time, but coming from just off the pace; that bode well for her prospects of stretching out and handling stakes company – as the pace in such races is usually furious.
She goes from five furlongs to 6 ½ furlongs but certainly has the pedigree to handle the added distance, being by Bernardini out of a Deputy Minister mare.
CAVORTING, another Bernardini filly, won by 11 lengths in her only start, but bear in mind that she faced only three rivals – perhaps making her performance stick out more than it should. She’s fast, but faces other pace pressure in the field, and therefore seems more likely to regress than the top choice.
VIVIAN DA BLING was untouchable in Texas, winning a pair of starts there, including a stakes race for horses that went through sales in Texas. She is as fast as the top choices on figures, but has never faced horses of this caliber.
