DRF en Español in Australia for broadcast of 2024 TAB Everest

Established as the most comprehensive horse racing platform in Spanish, DRF en Español is making history again this week by broadcasting Friday night’s Group 1, $13.6 million TAB Everest, the world’s richest turf race, live from Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia.

The broadcast is the result of an alliance between Sky Racing World, Daily Racing Form, and DRF en Español to bring Australian racing to a Spanish-speaking audience.

In addition to the race broadcast, Roberto Rodriguez, director of DRF en Español, will be present at Randwick to cover the TAB Everest post position draw and will be a guest in the Sky Racing World studios on Wednesday to talk about this week’s events DRF’s Spanish platform.

“I am proud of the work my team has done since day one,” he said. “We have seen, and statistically proven, a very significant growth for the brand we represent, the Daily Racing Form. We have now established excellent business relationships with more than 40 racetracks.”

This year’s 12 TAB Everest contenders include Giga Kick, who won the race in 2022; and I Wish I Win, who came second in last year’s edition. The spectacular day at Randwick also includes the Group 1 King Charles Stakes, with the possible presence of champion Pride of Jenni, who was awarded Horse of the Year honors in Australia for 2023-24. Other undercard races include the Group 3 Sydney Stakes, Group 3 Silver Eagle, Group 3 ATC St. Leger Stakes, Group 3 Angst Stakes, and the Group 3 Reginald Allen Quality.
