Dover: Wiggle It Jiggleit set for 2016 debut
The biggest Dover Downs card of the early season is set for Monday, March 28 and it is highlighted by the first start of the year for 2015 Horse of the Year, Wiggle It Jiggleit. The star pacer meets up with the streaking Rockeyed Optimist, a winner of four straight, in a field of seven of the top horses currently racing.
The $60,000 Invitational Handicap includes an all-star field, with the hard-hitting Bettor’s Edge, the sharp Dapper Dude, Bushwacker, First Class Horse and One Through Ten, on a giant Monday program. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
On the outstanding supporting card is a $36,000 Open Preferred pace, a $33,000 Delaware Special, plus two $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders stakes 1st leg divisions on the outstanding card.
