?q=100)
Perfect Twenty jogged in the $50,950 DSBF late closer final for 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters at Bally's Dover on Tuesday. Trainer Clifton Green hit the trifecta as all three of his trotters entered finished first, second and third.
Driver Tim Tetrick sent Perfect Twenty to the top and did not look back. Meanwhile, Kodack Black, his main threat, made an unfortunate break before the start of the race.
The 1-5 betting favorite, Perfect Twenty carved out fractions of 29 3/5, 58 3/5 and 1:28 and won in-hand by four lengths in 1:57 3/5. Stablemates Hespookshescores (Russell Foster) and Reddy Fox (Art Stafford Jr.) chased but could not pass Perfect Twenty, who paid $2.40 to win.
Perfect Twenty, a Yankee Royalty gelding, is owned by Robert Allison Jr. The win brings Perfect Twenty's lifetime earnings to over $180,000.
