Double Honor colt tops OBS preview

A colt by Double Honor fired off an eighth-mile work in 10 seconds flat Wednesday to top the first day of under-tack previews for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's April 2-year-old sale, which will run next Tuesday through Friday in Ocala, Fla.

The Double Honor colt, Hip No. 275, is out of the Claramount mare Clarabella.

Four horses had the day's fastest quarter-mile time of 21.40 seconds. They were Hip No. 3, an Out of Place-Waiting filly; Hip No. 133, a Marquetry-Baby Millie filly; Hip No. 181, a Cartwright-Boone's Band gelding; and Hip No. 243, an Untuttable-Cat in a Hat filly.

Three horses achieved the quickest three-eighths time of 34.40 seconds. They were Hip No. 58, a Tactical Cat-Yes My Queen colt; Hip No. 169, an Outofthebox-Black Foot Beauty filly; and Hip No. 290, a Suave Prospect-Cody Zamorra colt.

Wednesday's preview spotlighted Hip Nos. 1-350. The under-tack shows, which run through April 21, were to continue Thursday with Hip Nos. 351-700.
