Woodbine
Don't Be So Salty starter handicap highweight

Michael Burns Don't Be So Salty wins the Display Stakes in November at Woodbine.
ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Commencing in the third condition book of the Woodbine meet, starter allowance races have been eliminated, except for several novelty starter races.
The first one is on May 29, the Early Bird Starter Handicap, a six-furlong Tapeta sprint for 3-year-olds and up who started for a claiming price at the meet before May 13.
Don’t Be So Salty was made the 126-pound highweight in the Early Bird by racing secretary Scott Lane. Victorious in the Display Stakes here in 2015, the 6-year-old Don’t Be So Salty wintered at Gulfstream before winning both of his starts here this spring, an optional starter and an optional claimer.
Town Classic is the 121-pound second highweight.
