Diversy Harbor making progress

ARCADIA, Calif. – Diversy Harbor, who suffered sesamoid injuries when she was pulled up in the $151,000 Santa Barbara Handicap at Santa Anita on April 18, has shown progress in her recovery, according to Aimee Dollase, assistant to trainer Tom Proctor.
Diversy Harbor underwent surgery to stabilize the injury and remains at the Alamo Pintado Equine Clinic in Los Olivos, Calif.
“They’re pleased with her progress,” Dollase said. “They say she’s a good patient and is willing. Sometimes, they take care of themselves. That’s half the battle there.”
Diversy Harbor was racing at the back of the field in the Santa Barbara Handicap on turf when she was pulled up.
Owned by Glen Hill Farms, the 4-year-old Diversy Harbor has won 3 of 12 starts and earned $377,440. Diversy Harbor won the China Doll Stakes in early 2014, and was later second in the Grade 1 American Oaks. Earlier this year, Diversy Harbor won the Grade 3 Buena Vista Stakes at a mile on turf for fillies and mares.
