Dirt runners catch a break in Wednesday feature
RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLE
The race-8 feature Wednesday at Churchill will be run on the main track as a one-turn mile after having been initially carded for turf. Instead of Bacchanalia and Temple City Terror as favorites, several of the also-eligibles better suited to dirt will draw into the $89,000 allowance as the top contenders – Figure It Out, Singita Dreams, and Kim K.

Singita Dreams, trained by Phil Bauer for Rigney Racing, finished first for this same second-level condition earlier in the meet but was disqualified for interference.
“The filly is in the best form of her life and always seems to run her race,” Bauer said. “We’re expecting nothing different Wednesday.”
The feature is part of a Single 6 wager (races 4-9) that starts the week with a jackpot carryover of $136,661. First post is 1 p.m. Eastern, with sunshine and a high of 54 in the local forecast.
