WHO'S HOT

Atswhatimtalknbout has moved into the top 25 of Derby Watch following his allowance victory last week at Santa Anita. He is the co-eighth choice, at odds of 25-1, on the future line set by Mike Watchmaker, Daily Racing Form national handicapper.

WHO'S NOT

Apalachian Thunder was dropped from Derby Watch because of his loss in the Baldwin Stakes, a turf sprint, last weekend at Santa Anita.

ON THE BUBBLE

Eugenes Third Son won a two-turn allowance race at Gulfstream Park last weekend for trainer Patrick Byrne. Nothing to Lose won the Palm Beach Stakes on the turf last week and will move back to the dirt for his next start in an attempt to prove his Derby worth for trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Most of the horses running in stakes this weekend are considered a cut below the best, but if one jumps up with a huge performance, he could work his way onto the top 25 next week.
