Delaware: Your Out, last to first

Your Out likely raced her way into next month's Delaware Park Handicap, making a last-to-first move to win the $100,000 Obeah Stakes for fillies and mares at Delaware Park.

Last of nine horses after a quarter-mile, Your Out began passing horses on the turn under leading rider Ramon Dominquez, swung four wide into the stretch, and seized the lead. Your Out beat runner-up Quiet Lake by four lengths with Shag a neck behind in third and Unrestrained another head back in fourth.

Your Out ran the 1 1/8 miles in 1:52.54 over a fast track and paid $3.60. She has now won seven of 13 starts with four seconds and a third.

"You have to have the Delaware Park Handicap in the back of your mind now," said Your Out's trainer, Graham Motion. "When you win the prep the way she did, you have to give her serious consideration for the Del 'Cap."

The Grade 3, $600,000 Delaware Cap will be run July 21.
