Delaware: Hennie's Song wire to wire

Hennie's Song ($7.80) led throughout the $100,000 Go for Wand Saturday at Delaware Park to remain unbeaten in four career starts. Ridden by Anthony Black, Hennie's Song set fractions of 23.73 seconds for a quarter-mile, 47.85 for a half, and 1:12.70 for six furlongs before completing the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45.38 over a fast track.

Under Black's strong handling, Hennie's Song held off second-place finisher Coquettish by a half-length. Coquettish stalked throughout and finished well after racing in traffic on the turn. Virgin Voyage finished third.
