Delaware Handicap draws field of 10

Summer Wind Dancer, a 4-year-old filly who has raced exclusively in California, is the 5-2 morning line favorite for Sunday's Grade 2, $750,000 Delaware Handicap.

Trained by Jeff Mullins, Summer Wind Dancer drew post 9 in a field of 10 fillies and mares when entries were taken for the 1 1/4-mile stakes Tuesday at Delaware Park. Victor Espinoza will fly in from Southern California for the mount.

In her last start, Summer Wind Dancer won the Grade 3 Hawthorne Handicap, a 1 1/8-mile race at Hollywood Park on June 6.

Second choice on the track's morning line at 7-2 is Roar Emotion, a 4-year-old trained by Kiarin McLaughlin. She was most recently sixth in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap at Churchill Downs and will be ridden by Jerry Bailey while breaking from post 5.
