Delaware: Forest Park prevails

Forest Park challenged favored Shake You Down approaching the stretch and drew clear to a one-length victory in the $58,700 at Delaware Park.

It was the seventh victory in 8 lifetime starts for the 4-year-old Forest Park, who was ridden by Mario Pino for his brother, trainer Mike Pino. Forest Park is now 4 for 4 at Delaware Park.

Dale's Prospect rallied on the outside to take second, two lengths clear of Silver Flower, the 3-2 second choice. Shake You Down, a graded stakes winner with $1.3 million in earnings, faded badly in the stretch to finish last in the field of six older sprinters.

Forest Park ($12.20) covered six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.53.
