Paris's Dragon made a final attempt in the last turn, but Charlie May, a 7-year-old McArdle gelding, drew clear by three lengths to lower the stakes record to 1:49. Charlie May, who has earned $2.3 million during his career, is conditioned by Terry Di Cicco for owner/breeder Don R. Tiger. Two Divisions of the OBC Aged Trot Held; Stakes Record Falls In the second $17,500 split of the OBC Aged Trot, Jurassic Hattie (Brett Miller) took no prisoners and crushed her five foes by eight lengths. The winning time of 1:52 1/5 established a new stakes record. The 4-year-old Volstead mare is trained by Stacey Van Huizen for Jerry M. Welsh. Longshot Don't Take My Keys (Austin Hanners) and Refined (Chris Page) completed the top three. Longshot (Chris Lems) cruised to a 1 3/4 length victory in the first division of the OBC for aged trotters. The 6-year-old Long Tom gelding went gate-to-wire in 1:54 2/5. Spaaaanzano (Aaron Merriman) was a second and Guido Di (Brady Brown) rounded out the trifecta. Longshot is owned by the partnership of Wayne Mast Jr. and Callam Racing.
