Vanguard (Todd McCarthy) got off to a slow start from post one but wound up in the pocket and finished second. The other two horses in the race - Elhelpski (Peter Wrenn) and Say A Prayer (Matt Krueger) - made breaks early. "He came as advertised. He's actually a really nice horse to drive, and I was glad to pick up the drive," remarked Gingras. ► Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Four Sixes, a Six Pack colt bred by Vieux Carre Farms, was making his debut for co-owner William Hartt and co-owner/trainer Melissa Beckwith after being purchased in an online auction.
