Del Mar Thursday carryover: $473,000

DEL MAR, Calif.-There is a two-day pick six carryover of $473,943 at Del Mar on Thursday after favorites were beaten in five of the six races in Wednesday's pick six.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races on an eight-race program that begins at 2 p.m. Pacific.

The pick six sequence includes four sprints, all on the main track, and two races around two turns, one on turf and on the main track.

The feature race is the $80,000 Adoration Handicap, which will have a field of 11 led by Model, who has finished behind Zenyatta in recent starts. At Wednesday's scratch time, Chocolate Lava was withdrawn, allowing Dona Amelia to draw into the field from the also-eligible list.

There is an early scratch in the fourth race, one of two maiden claimers in the pick six. Billionaire Bob is withdrawn, leaving a field of 10. Nascar Johnny is the 5-2 morning-line favorite in that race.
