Del Mar pick six carryover at $143,784
DEL MAR, Calif. - A string of longshots on Friday has led to a pick six carryover of $143,784 for Saturday's program at Del Mar.
The pick six covers the fifth through 10th races on Saturday; the card starts at 2 p.m.
Here is a glance at the changes for Saturday's program. Bin Dere Did Dat has been scratched from the fifth race, run over 6 1-2 furlongs for $9,000 to $10,000 claimers. Tyler Baze has been named to ride Crafty Dutchman.
There are 11 starters, with Disguys Dalimit the 3-1 favorite on the morning-line.
There are no changes in the sixth race, an allowance race over 1 1-16 miles on turf. Spunky Gal and Blushing Rahy are an entry and are 2-1 on the morning-line.
In the seventh race, Listen Indy is the 5-2 morning line favorite to beat seven other 2-year-old maidens. The race is run over seven furlongs and could produce a starter for the Grade 2 Del Mar Futurity on Sept. 11.
Carlinga has been scratched from the eighth race, a starter allowance over 6 1-2 furlongs with 11 runners. The race is one of the more open betting events on the program, with Ginger Roo the lukewarm 7-2 favorite on the morning-line.
In the ninth race, there are no changes in the five-runner La Jolla Handicap.
Regiment, trained by Bob Baffert, is the 9-5 morning line favorite, but Inesperado, the winner of the Cinema Breeders' Cup Handicap at Hollywood Park on June 30, is 2-1.
In the last race, Beautiful Retta, Stellar Light, Passionate Caper and Unusual Moment have been scratched.
There are 12 runners in a seven-furlong race for maiden claimers.
