Key's - Ismene

B's - Wednesday, Minds Eyes, Charm the Maker

C's - Sassy Suances

After a vacation ISMENE came back firing in the spring with 2 fine runner-up efforts. She's been freshened again and has worked superbly for this return. WEDNESDAY is back to what may be her best game - sprinting. MINDS EYES finished full of run in her return after 5 months off and may move forward. CHARM THE MAKER has some class and is working strongly. She won her only prior try here.

Race 7

Key's - Stop Smiling, She’s a Tiger

B's - Concave

C's - None

STOP SMILING, kin to Weemissfrankie (won Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante here, also Grade 1 Oak Leaf) blew the start but finished strongly to roll past her rivals. She may get a nice pace set-up again here. SHE'S A TIGER, kin to Grade 1-winning sprinter Smiling Tiger, can flat sizzle. She's yet to be behind a horse at a margin call. She showed synthetic ability winning BHP's Landaluce and has worked well here.

Race 8

Key's - Suances Pride, Lakeside Bride

B's - Warren's Dixi Bell

C's - Gypsy Friday

SUANCES PRIDE didn't run badly in her first 2 starts at BHP. She's been freshened, adds blinkers and boasts 2 smart recent local works. LAKESIDE BRIDE has been burning money but may break through one of these days. Bejarano sees fit to give her another go.
