DEL MAR PICK 3 (RACE 3-5)

Race 3

KEY's - Peacenik, Marine Fog

B's - Classic Bobby

C's - Private Bounty, Half Dome Dude

PEACENIK set a hot pace but couldn't fend off big winner Keyboard Courage while facing more expensive here Aug. 18. That run shows he's back on track and today's drop may do the trick. MARINE FOG has been knocking on the door with 4 straight 2nds. He makes his first start for Bonde off the claim and gets Bejarano. CLASSIC BOBBY drops, plummets in class and returns to a synthetic track on which he's done very well (2 for 3).

Race 4

KEY's - Dreaminofatticus

B's - Accomplish

C's - Bro's Bro

DREAMINOFATTICUS looks ready to bust through as he was a superb 2nd in a spot similar to this here Aug. 3. Bejarano stays and there's a bullet 3f blowout (:34.20) to say he holds his edge. ACCOMPLISH has worked strongly for his debut and lures Talamo, who ends up aboard after riding BRO'S BRO, one of today's favorites, in that guy's last 2 starts.

Race 5

KEY's - Domonation, Magic Beam

B's - Gutshot Straight, Blue Jay Attack

C's - Courtside

DOMONATION was monstrous winning here July 31 and is doubled in value off the claim. MAGIC BEAM beat DOMONATION in that guy's 2 prior starts so he's certainly got the necessary oomph. GUTSHOT STRAIGHT fizzled here Aug. 2 as the 2-1 favorite but his prior outings were strong and Hendricks saw fit to claim him. BLUE JAY ATTACK has been freshened off the claim, has worked well and ran big here last year.
