DEL MAR LATE PICK 4 (RACES 7-10)

RACE 7

KEY's - HOLY LUTE, IMPERIAL FORTUNE, WONDERFUL UNION

HOLY LUTE ran very well in debut and with slight improvement could take this. IMPERIAL FORTUNE earned a figure last time that wins the overwhelming majority of maiden races. WONDERFUL UNION makes debut for owners who have been known to strike with firsters over the years and has sharp gate drill indicating he may be ready at first asking.

B's - PROVEN WARRIOR

RACE 8

KEY's - DRY SUMMER

B's - UNO DOS ADIOS, PURE LOYALTY

C's - GREELEY AWESOME, FREAKIN ROCKET, DICE FLAVOR

DRY SUMMER won here last year, taking top prize in the Oak Tree Turf. In his lone turf start since then, he was virtually eliminated in the first turn in the BC Juvenile Turf.

RACE 9

KEY's - MUM'S TRUCKEE

B's - GIFTING, UBELONGTOMEMISSY

MUM’S TRUCKEE has a lot going for her. The barn is going well, she's working great and her figures earned this past winter already make her competitive. She also draws well for her running style and any improvement should find her in the winners' circle.

RACE 10

KEY's - TROUBLE X TWO, WHEELER GORGE, CINCO DE MARIO

B's - GRANT, IN EXCESSIVENESS

C's - DARK TIMBERS, BIG MACHER

A wide open race with many contenders; those most preferred are TROUBLE X TWO who ran well in main track debut while breaking from rail and then chased the pace on the turf before tiring; WHEELER GORGE who set the pace going two turns in his debut and cuts back in this seven furlong event and CINCO DE MARIO who’s had his chances but now runs at the lowest level ever.
