Del Mar jackpot taken down for $603,613

DEL MAR, Calif. - The single ticket pool of the pick six was conquered at Del Mar on Wednesday by a bettor who received a massive payoff of $603,613.

The ticket was sold at The Meadowlands in New Jersey, track officials said.

This is the second time at the summer meeting the single ticket portion of the pool has been hit. The season began on July 19 and continues through Sept. 4.

The winning ticket beat five favorites on Wednesday. The winners of the pick six races were Bombardeo ($5.80), Deal With It Dude ($16.80), Kenriya ($17.80), Miss Remembering ($20.20), Show It N Moe It ($12.20) and Pistol Packin Rose ($7.60).

Only Bombardeo was favored. Consolation tickets with five of those winners were worth $716.

The single ticket jackpot portion of the pool began with a carryover of $441,293 from Sunday. Bettors added $250,218 on Wednesday.
