One Sock Wonder drops into a maiden-80 for trainer Bob Hess Jr., whose second-start maidens frequently move up. One Sock Wonder is 4-1 on the line, and a play at 3-1.

Race 5

Forbidden Apple was buried on the rail his first two starts, and failed to make an impact. The 2-year-old moves outside for his third start, has a solid work pattern since raced, and is qualified to outrun his 8-1 program odds.
