DEL MAR, Calif. – There is a rare two-day carryover in the pick six on Friday at Del Mar.
The bet will begin with a pool of $192,793 after bettors missed the pick six on Sunday and again Thursday, the first day of the current racing week.
The pool of new money in the pick six on Friday may surpass $800,000.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 2 p.m. Pacific.
Before scratches, the pick six races have maximum fields of 9, 8, 11, 8, 12, and 10 runners.
The seventh race is the $150,000 Fleet Treat Stakes for California-bred 3-year-old fillies at seven furlongs. The race is led by Mohaven and She’s No Quant.
On Thursday, the pick six races produced three consecutive longshot winners – Breakaway Babe ($31.40), Bojaca Blessing ($22.40), and Stolen Treasure ($19.80) – in the fifth through seventh races that were very difficult for bettors to string together.
The carryover was confirmed even though Motet ($5.40) won the eighth and final race as the favorite.
