Del Mar to conduct lottery for restaurant tables

Del Mar will conduct a lottery from Monday through Wednesday for table reservations at three of its restaurants – the Clubhouse Terrace, Stretch Run Grill, and Café Del Sol – for the opening-day program on July 17 and the Pacific Classic program on Aug. 25.

The free random drawing will be held online, with applications accepted from 9 a.m. Pacific on Monday through 5 p.m. Wednesday. Each winning entry can purchase one table.

For opening day, four-person tables are $200, and two-person tables are $100. On Pacific Classic Day, four-person tables are $150, and two-person tables are $75. Track admission is not included in the cost of the table reservations.

Winning applicants will be notified by Friday. Tables must be purchased by noon Pacific on April 17.

Other ticket sales, including reserved seats and tables on other racing dates, will go on sale May 10.
