He’s settled into Hong Kong nicely and his work, trials and gallops have all looked good. He’s been gelded too, and this contest doesn’t look out of his reach by any stretch. #1 Kaholo Angel is the clear one to beat, however, he won't be any sort of attractive price to do so. Expect he gets some company close to the speed which could easily bring him undone. #6 Joyful Prosperity did well on debut and further improvement is expected. #7 Super Bonus is next in line. Race 2: Celosia Handicap #11 Hunky Dory was without luck last time out. Expect he can atone for that effort here from gate one with Silvestre de Sousa aboard. One to beat. #8 Apex Top should roll forward in a bid to pinch this one. He did that last start and there’s no reason to suggest why his form might be tailing off. #1 Master Of Luck has the class edge and should improve further after having one run already in Class 5. #4 Young Horizon has been knocking on the door all season. Similar again is expected from him under Vincent Ho. Race 3: Dandelion Handicap (1st Section) #8 Winning Data makes his debut. He’s done well since his arrival in Hong Kong, stringing together several strong performances at the trials. Expect a big showing with Karis Teetan engaged first-up. #4 Simple Hedge flashed home late to miss narrowly last time out. He can take another step forward here with Zac Purton retaining the ride. #3 Moduleconstruction is lightly raced and has placed in each of his outings. He’ll continue to be consistent. #11 Huge Win draws ideally. He’ll be thereabouts. Race 4: Freesia Handicap #6 Serangoon caught the eye on debut and he should relish getting out to this distance, one that he was a winner over in Australia before import. He gets a handy seven pounds off his back and a much better draw this time in. #9 Packing Hurricane is on the seven day back-up. He was a classy winner last start and a repeat of that effort holds him in good stead. #5 Leading Fortune will relish any of the forecasted rain. He looks ready for the step up in trip also. #8 S J Tourbillon is next best. Inside draw is favourable. Race 5: Hydrangea Handicap #5 Master Of Fortune appears to have settled into Hong Kong well. He’s closed off nicely twice now – his only two starts in Hong Kong – and looks open to plenty more improvement. One to beat. #12 Superb Move is turning it around. His latest effort caught the eye and a repeat of that run suggests he’ll be fighting out the finish. #8 Oscar Glory will inject the pace into this race. Expect he leads in a bid to try and make all under the apprentice. #6 Indigenous Realm gets a handy draw. He’ll be thereabouts. Race 6: Dandelion Handicap (2nd Section) #6 Courier Magic makes his debut. He’s done well in his trials and gets a handy draw here to really showcase his best. Expect a big showing first-up from a sweet gate. #13 Plentiful draws barrier one and chances are he pushes forward to lead this group. He has the ability, however, his fiery temperament hasn’t allowed him to show it. He’s more than capable. #5 Watch Buddy roared into second position last time out. Expect improvement. #1 Baby Crystal hasn’t raced for some time. Keep safe. Race 7: The Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber Of Commerce Centenary Cup Handicap #7 Golden Express is chasing a hat-trick of wins. He’s continued to improve and his latest win was nothing short of impressive. Expect he takes another step forward here with Zac Purton retaining the ride. #2 Stoltz was a one-time boom horse. He’s had setbacks, however, his latest trial was sound. He can fire. #8 Goko Win should be value. He has a powerful finish when required. #1 Nervous Witness caught the eye in a recent trial. He looks to have returned to a solid level of form. Expect he plays catch me if you can here.  Race 8: Lotus Handicap #7 Copartner Pudong is a sound prospect. Gate one should afford him every opportunity here to score on debut for trainer John Size and he’s worth taking a chance on. He’ll save ground and get his opportunity. #12 Lady’s Choice is improving with every outing. He can do so once again. #4 Golden Bull knows how to run well without winning. He warrants consideration here with Zac Purton taking the reins. #10 Togepi has mixed his form but does look like a winner in waiting. He’ll be fighting out the finish. Race 9: G3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup Handicap #6 Columbus County comes into this race with sound form behind him. He appears to have been set for this contest and his best form holds him in good stead. He gets 120lb assigned and from the draw he should get a sweet run in transit. #8 Straight Arron continues to improve. He’s super classy and gets his chance following an almighty win last time out. Distance the query. #3 Panfield is worth of an each way ticket. He should be able to fire. #10 Five G Patch slots in light and should appreciate the 12 furlongs. Race 10: Magnolia Handicap #14 Red Elegance is chasing back-to-back wins following an impressive debut success. He steps up in grade which will prove a challenge, however, the retention of Zac Purton’s services suggests that his rise won’t be stopping anytime soon. #8 Flying High has hit his straps over this course and distance. He was an impressive winner in the grade last start. #12 Tomodachi Kokoroe brings some intriguing form to Hong Kong. Latest trial an eye catcher. Next in line. #9 Cheval Valiant has the apprentice. Keep safe.  Race 11: Tulip Handicap #4 Mighty Stride is a really, really nice horse. He won with plenty in hand last time and this contest is well within his grasp. One to beat. It’s worth taking an each way ticket on #10 Endeared. He should be huge odds here but his trials before a difficult debut were quite good. Expect sharp improvement from gate one. #8 Hyper Dragon Ball is lightly raced and can take another step forward here. #2 Amazing Victory has consistency on his side. He’ll be right there when it matters.
