Dayton: Noble hits grand slam in Buckeye Stallion Series Championships

Driver Dan Noble went four-for-eight in the $75,000 Buckeye Stallion Series Championships that were featured on Saturday evening's card at Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway.
Three of Noble's victories came with horses trained by his wife Christi. They took the 3-year-old filly pace with Calypso Pearl (by Fear The Dragon and bred by owner Sandra Burnett, paid $2.60 to win) in 1:50 3/5, the 3-year-old male trot with Tom Swifty (by Long Tom, bred by co-owner Sandra Burnett, paid $4.40 to win) in 1:54 4/5 and the 3-year-old male pace with Legendary Noble (by Bit Of A Legend N, bred by Noble's grandmother Jean Noble, paid $19.80 to win) in 1:51 2/5. Noble, through his Norman Rae Racing LLC., co-owns Tom Swifty and is the sole owner of Legendary Noble.
Noble's other Buckeye Stallion Series champion was Tommy Count, who took the 2-year-old colt and gelding trot in 1:56 4/5 for trainer Ronnie Gillespie and owner Anthony Miller. The Long Tom colt was bred by Wayne Weaver.

In addition to his four tallies in the Buckeye Stallion Series Championships, Noble won three overnight races, and his son Koltin also had a driving win on the program.
The remainder of the Buckeye Stallion Series Championships were taken by 2-year-old trotting filly Travel Nurse (by Enterpise and bred by owner Joyce McClelland with her husband Dick, paid $7.00 to win) in 1:56 3/5 for driver Brett Miller and trainer Virgil Morgan Jr., 2-year-old pacing filly My Hare Legend (by Bit Of A Legend N, bred by the late Schare Adams, paid $5.40 to win) in 1:51 4/5 for driver Eric Goodell, trainer Logan Ebersole and owner Ronald Rust, 2-year-old colt pacer Twin B High Tide (by Downbytheseaside and bred by Twinbrook Limited, paid $2.40 to win) in 1:52 1/5 for driver Austin Hanners, trainer Alicia Hanners and owner Hanners Racing and 3-year-old filly trot Justasiam As (by Lionhunter, bred by owner ACL Stuteri Ab, paid $2.60 to win) in 1:56 1/5 for driver Tony Hall and trainer Anette Lorentzon.
